Don't. When I tried to fire Bioshock 2, GFWL just fucked me over for no reason. To this day, I still haven't played the 2nd game at all. I don't get why GFWL didn't let me play this one when so many others worked without a hitch, though.

GFWL just sucks in general. Took me several days to get Bulletstorm to start, whereas a pirated copy works instantly without any hiccup. But hey, DRM is great, right?

Nope, this was on the steam version. Either Bioshock 2 on steam comes with GFWL, or the mess on my PC is bigger than I'm willing to consider.

Sure is. My pirate copy of Bishock 2 works perfectly fine too, or it did back when I first tried it, but after the mess I described I rage quit and didn't bother installing it again.

For that, my friends, exists this "BioShock 2 fake xlive". If you don't care about the multiplayer part of the game, this will allow you to play and save the game without installing that cr*p that is GFWL:

http://timeslip.users.sourceforge.net

It works for the retail disc and Steam versions of the game.
