Not much I know, but last week I got given a fiver steam voucher - grabbed myself a copy of Dead Space whilst it was on offer, but steam wouldnt process the second (for gifting) before the offer ran out.

So, With todays offer I realised I could grab a couple of copies of this for the giftability with the change instead of having it sat there saying "Ya didnt get it did ya?! - Steam HATES you!"

e: just a thought, you know these people who are doing this? do they leave a comment in the GA like a thanks or something? because if not we could insist you comment now to somehow reduce their inclination to take and run?
mind you noone should have to jump through hoops to make sure a gift isnt abused! why do the nice people have to do the work?!
and still doesnt help with a pre-send-check email though but still rambling thought

I think the same thing, and that's why I posted "P.S.: We're a small club, it would be great if you leave any message... :)" in the description of my current giveaway. Too many people (and always the same people), never post or even say thanks. That's kind of sad...
