CthuluIsSpy: Its a bit more complicated than that, I think. His powers are certainly evil though. Still nicer than the Angelus or the Brotherhood.

I never played the first one and never read the comic book but I played this game and never had any problem understanding the story. And I must add that the game is pretty cool. Really good one...

I read the comics and played Darkness II. Both are pretty great, though the game is a little on the short side; you can beat it in 6 hours on the hardest difficulty. The ending is also pretty annoying; I don't like it when games end on a cliff-hanger.

I never played the first game since I don't have a console. I hope they release it on PC one day.

I never had chance to try this one but I might give it a try since mafia and dark occult atmosphere is good combination.

Well, the new Gift Club rule (Rule #10: Respect any rules set by the gifter) is a very nice addition. Might as well use it. Within reason, of course.
I did briefly consider adding "You must have seen attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion" as the fourth rule for my giveaway, but I decided it was a bit restrictive... :D
