The first game wasn't released on PC, but Darkness 2 tells you everything you need to know about the story. It's your basic "evil jerk gets evil powers, evil jerk loses the girl, everyone wants to kill the evil jerk". We've all been there, right? ;P

Its a bit more complicated than that, I think. Jackie himself isn't evil; a bit harsh, but not evil. His powers are certainly evil though. Still nicer than the Angelus or the Brotherhood.

I was kind of kidding.

EDIT: He's a Mafia hitman. That makes him an evil jerk in my book.
