DarkoD13: That usually happens with packs or GOTY editions. It's not just you.
I didn't get GOTY edition, though. It's just plain old Civ V without any add-ons whatsoever.

DarkoD13: Was Dino D-Day a free weekend game recently? Try syncing your account. If more people have this problem I'll delete the giveaway and contact support.
It was in a weekend some time ago, but if someone played it during the weekend or steam is being buggy, it might still believe that that person has the game, at least according to the system that Steam gifts uses to check.

I thought free weekend games only counted as being in your account if you actually installed them.
But does that show for any Civ V giveaways, or only on giveaways for Civ V GotY/Gold?

As for the free weekend, as long as you log in on your Steam during the free weekend, the game in question will get added to your library and will show up in your profile gamelist. But it'll go away once the free weekend is over. Now, if you install and play it, it'll stay in your profile gamelist for one or two weeks more, long after the game disappears from your Steam library.

It's official. I'm done with giveaways for about 4 months now. Why, you ask? Because the college year has ended, and thus I am returning to the internet-less abyss from which I came. See you in August, everyone! (Hopefully I'll have saved up enough for a particularly big giveaway.)
