yes, ive also had the same problem with this member...
he is officially suspended from SteamGifts due to this & Adambiser is already informed & knows about this guy...
he will probably ban him from the group now that he is suspended...

DarkoD13: Posting this here since the user is a member of the GOG Gift Club.
He doesn’t activate a lot of the games he wins and probably trades most of them (at least that’s what he’s doing with my gift). From what I managed to see before SG went down, he hasn’t activated gifts from triock, K_1269 and others.
If you have given him a key, I suggest you drop it in the ninja thread just in case. Unfortunately, I sent him a steam gift.

grynn: I checked his wins and saw 2 of my giveaways, Deus Ex HR: Missing Link and Sol Survivor, both activated on his account so there might be another issue or he just started doing this lately, I dunno.
It seems like a recent pattern, with the exception of La-Mulana.

I just checked and he won Dungeons Gold from one of my giveaways about seven months ago. It was a steam gift and he doesn't have it in his account.

This begs the question as to why, during sync, steamgifts doesnt check off that winnings on SG have been activated

Excellent question! This should be mandatory. The problem is if you have your profile set to view only by friends to private, the Sync process doesn't work... :(

You still have to sync once in a couple of days to use steamgifts.

This is a lesson to always check if someone activates their gift. A lot of gifts were wasted on this guy because this. I am guilty of that myself, I didn't check and wouldn't have found out if I hadn't seen his classifieds post.

I'm sure there's a way to get it done - perhaps if SG could be made into a secure "middle-man" of sorts - though I'd think that doubtful with their on/off site business.

Really, I didn't knew that. Mine have been public for months... I have seen many people with private profiles using it, I guess they have to change that for a moment and sync from time to time manually... :P

That version of the GOG club from 7 months ago is gone. This is now version 3.0.

That's what I do - i thought you were on about summat else. SO - my point is really one that should be taken to SG as a point of service then
