Ian: peeps some advice please - is Portal 2 any good ? (I have the 1st but not played it yet)
avatar
Azrael360: Yes, it is really good. It is very clever, funny, awesome, long... I got it on Xbox 360, played the solo campaign AND the co-op campaign ALONE (with two controllers... :P). It's THAT good ^_^. Then I got it on Steam, and the PC version looks and run much better. But to understand the story, you should play the first game before the second. The second part is superior in every aspect, but the first is short and really good. The story is really good, it has some fantastic moments, and that Wheatley character, is one of the best in the gaming story... you'll be "LMAOing" more that one time... ;)
I found the first game to be a complete drag. D-R-A-G. Just my two cents.

Ian:
I am glad to hear the issue is resolved (even if that is not a very good way) but still.
We completely understand that you have to put some requirements from now on, hell, if that would have happened to me I probably would come to the same requirements you did.

As for portal 2, i will say only this, GO FOR IT!
But as Azrael360 mentioned before, play Portal 1 first (it's also the prequel to the story of the second one), it's really short and quite enjoyable so it won't be a problem.

That said, take a you deserved break Ian, enjoy it ;)

Ki11s0n3: Well today is my Birthday and as I mentioned in other areas I was gonna try and do a giveaway, unfortunately something came up so I am completely broke but I was able to get this.

Good luck to all who enter - Will be open for 20 hours, mainly because anything longer than a day we risk the chance of me forgetting lol.

Portal 2 is a great game. The best game in this kind of game (FPZ, first person puzzle).

Ian: About BioShock Infinite
Nice news, finally over ! The bad thing is we had a person really not thankful, but you did it right Ian. Thanks for your generosity and glad to see this story is over :-)

I had a lot of fun play through it with my brother. The level editor and Steam Workshop add a lot of depth. I'm glad that the situation with your giveaway was ironed out.

Congratz mrcrispy83 (aka dogrobot) I have added you on Steam
REMINDER:

ONGOING FOR ANOTHER DAY

http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/3Puj5/sid-meiers-civilization-v-game-of-the-year
Stopped by to say thanks for penny arcade

not really a fan of the comic, since the humor seems to age badly and it seems to require you to read accompanying blog post to understand the joke, but zeboyd makes some fun bite sized games.

Ian:
It saddens me that a simple response of thanks can be that hard to come by. Especially with a prize as awesome as yours. I'm glad that it's going to have some positive resolution, albeit far from ideal.

I took a consequence early on of my e-mails not being received and have only used it since to notify my winners. I don't want to deal with dodgy providers or dishonesty.
I now prefer to add people on Steam temporarily to pass the key. So far that has been a pleasant experience and I get to have a little chat with the winner. ;-)
