Need one more for Day of the Tentacle to get an even 5! Come on, people! This was supposedly the greatest adventure game of the 20th century (according to pcgamer or some such thing..while it's great, I always felt that honour fell to Monkey Island 2 :D). Where are all the point and click fanatics who are short on money?

Jinxtah: I don't think it's a question of how good the game is. It's more a question of it having been bundled before, and out for a while, so odds are pretty good for almost everyone having it already.

I've given up on being bothered about the 5 entries so I can get CV. The group isn't big enough (nor active enough for that matter) to ensure such things. It would be lovely if we reformed the rules a bit so it wasn't filled with people who largely just leech instead of giving away games more often than they just grab and grab and grab, but instead promoted activity, and made a big recruitment drive here on gog somehow so we could kickstart this thing.

Ah well, at least we can be thankful that trentonlf hasn't given up on the group yet.
Well I love to gift but I also love to level up - it's just in my nature. Case in point, I got sick of rep trolls and have mostly left GOG because of the rep crap. I occasionally gift just to this group but literally begging people who have a game wishlisted to enter is a drag. I do try to find games that more than 10 people have on their wishlists - but man, it's a major pain going through the list.

And then there is the leecher effect - that this group hasn't revised their rules to allow for whitelists or increased the "gift more or be kicked" rules is one of the reason why this group is dying.... Frankly I'd love to gift here more often AND also feel free to enter more often but it's almost not worth it - no CV, gifting to the same leechers for the most part and throw in the GOG effect of getting down-repped for even posting (heck even trent has had this happen)...

~shrugs~ just my two cents - take em or leave em - it's just two pennies :-p

That is one rule I'd love to see added. If you want to be part of the group, you're required to actually gift somewhat frequently. Say once per month or every two months (or whatever, I don't have a suggestion pinned down). Shit I might even be ok with being required to gift a non-bundled game now and then. There are plenty of sales to make this a non-issue. Of course not everyone is ok with those kinds of rules, and I don't want to impose, but I just want the group to become more active. I'd hate to see what happens when trenton finally gets enough.

It makes perfect sense, if you ask me. I don't know if the group will become more active, though, maybe the less inactive people will just get shaken off.

I agree, I barely post those days and when I do is usual a link to a giveaway I host, and my rep is going down and down. I don't care about it anymore, but it's just dumb this happens, because there's a group of people targeting other users with the only purpose to decrease their rep, and this is going from years now.
I was 1400 rep some month ago, and now I'm 1100 and I posted how many times? 10?

Poll/quession for group members:

I have Brave New World and Gods and Kings from the Civ V Humble Bundle thing. But they seem to be region locked to NA.

I'd be happy to give them away in the GOG gift club but I'd like to see a show of hands as to who would and can enter. Just to make sure there are enough goers to hold the giveaway. If there's only a couple, I might make a mixed giveaway with my whitelist
