So I encountred a new problem on steamgifts.

I won a ga, but then rejected the gift (since I got the game in the meantime)
The ga creator however, does not want to ask for a re-roll because I have seen his key in my game-won page.

What do I do in this situation?

(I can't ask for a re-roll myself since it's not my ga)

Did you get the game through winning another giveaway on Steamgifts? If not, then just give away the key to someone else and then mark it as received. I don't see that as breaking any Steamgifts rule.

Eh, I had a similar problem (the winner didn't want the game because he told me maybe it was not his cup of tea or something like that), but I "forced" him in a friendly way to redeem the game, because the key was in clear.
But I agree this is a problem, an easily solvable one: SG owners should insert a "reveal the key" button, so in the case you win 2 giveaways, you can ask for a reroll with no problems.

Hm, that's an interesting idea. Once you press the "reveal the key" you shouldn't ask for a re-roll.

I think it was a trust issue, the gifter can't trust me. But on the other hand, many things in steamgifts are based on mutual trust between the gifter and the receiver (eg: receiver will press the "received" button and not claim the key was used, which puts the gifter in a corner, since he can't verify the key beforehand OR the gifter may give a used key and then claim the receiver traded/sold it).
What I want to say is that, basically, there is trust between the steamgifts users (which is why 99,9% of ga's end OK )

Good luck!
Just wanted to say I would love to join this group per McHack's request but sadly I do not meet the SteamGifts requirements :-( If anyone wishes to add me on Steam though I am eyeznear on there.

If you don't mind me asking, what's stopping you from joining? Perhaps we can help.

You seem to have enough value on your account to join and the other requirements should be easy to pass.

FAQ says:

Users sign-in using their Steam account, and we require their account to be valued at $100 or greater. Games that have been accessible through bundles, or games that were once available for free due to promotions or pricing errors are not included in this calculation
I think that's the problem. $100 bucks in only non bundled games is hard to achieve in 2 month. I guess it just needs more time...

Also it doesn't say if the game price is the full price or the sale price and nice I only shop sales it's going to be quite onerous. If anyone has ideas or offers feel free to message me and thank you all :-)
