magejake50: -When GOG has a sale-
"Ooo a sale, let me check my wishlist to see if anything I want is discounted"
-clicks wishlist, loads almost instantly-
"Oh yes, these 3 games are, I'm gonna buy them"
-Clicks on games, games automatically added to cart-
"That was easy"
-clicks on cart, 30 seconds later all games are brought-
-When Steam has a sale-
"Ooo, it's one of those big Steam Sales today isn't it, let me just open up Steam"
-Clicks Steam Shortcut, nothing happens, click again, still nothing-
"*Sigh* This again"
-Restarts Comp, waits 2 minutes, clicks Steam, Steam opens onto Library-
"It's about time, now let me see what games on my wishlist are on sale"
-Clicks Wishlist, Steam opens up a page from a game previously looked at-
"hmm, that's frustrating"
-Clicks Wishlist, Steam says 'There are no games in the wishlist'-
"*Sigh* This again, I thought they fixed this"
-Clicks Store, Clicks Store again, Clicks the Wishlist Link on the store page, after about 30 seconds of loading it opens-
"Finally, oh wow, these 3 games I want are on sale"
-Clicks First Game, lag, opens up Game Page, Clicks buy, lag, Opens up Cart, Click back to wishlist, more lag-
-Repeat 2 more times-
"Alright now to pay for these"
-click, lag, click, lag-
"Wow, I hope these games were worth all that waiting around"
I mean, surely a company with the resources Valve has is able to make the whole process smoother, it's embarrassing. I'm not even exaggerating the using Steam roleplay, that was me twenty minutes ago trying to buy 3 Total War games.
Right, because GOG's servers have never crapped out on them. What a load of shite, eh!
