So, Steam have just started their Summer Sale a few days ago, with almost all games reduced, many up to -75%! This means that the games you couldn't afford from the few pence you've saved up by selling trading cards are now in your reach! What have you gone for? Something special to satisfy your eyes for a few months! Or have you got something for someone else? Post a comment below with what you've got this sale!

I bought Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2: Episode 1 + Episode 2! I'm really looking forward to trying these out seeming as I really enjoyed the first one and its DLC's!
I decided to blow all my trading card money in the summer sale and bought these games:

<span class="bold">Axiom Verge</span> - 8,99€
<span class="bold">DEEP SPACE WAIFU</span> - 1,19€
<span class="bold">Handsome Mr. Frog</span> - 0,49€
<span class="bold">Material Girl</span> - 1,19€
<span class="bold">Pinkman</span> - 0,49€
<span class="bold">Space Fuss</span> - 0,74€

I currently have 6 cents left in my Steam wallet so i'm as good as done with the summer sale. :D
Gunpoint
SeriousSam 2
Atari Vault
all the AOE 2 HD Expansions (already had the base)
AOM HD
Wasn't going to spend anything unless it was crazy cheap but then I realized I still had a bunch of CSGO/TF2 keys in my inv so I suddenly had +75 euro Steam wallet to spend.

So far only picked up 1 game:

Eador Imperium - 8.49 Euro (because of 15% extra bundle discount)

I've gotten incredibly stingy when it comes to buying games lately, unless it's a high profile release I'm incredibly excited about ^^ (XCOM 2 expansion probably xD)

So how is Serious Sam? I was thinking, but decided against it.

I think I've finally reached the tipping point: I have too many games and no reason to buy more. Until I play through most of what I've got, it's just silly to be buying more games, especially considering the ones on sale now will be on sale again later (and likely at an even better discount).

Not bad. I've only just started but it's pretty fun. A lot more interaction with the environment and it looks like you might even have some NPCs to work with.

Ah, right. Is there any single player (that isn't just some NPC's walking around doing nothing)? I don't really like multi-player games because I get so annoyed at the people who just can't seem to play the game properly. He says as he runs into the final boss of an MMORPG armed with a wooden stick

I don't play MP so yes it's single player. It's basically a cleaned up continuation of the 1st and 2nd encounter.

Ok, I'll have to get the whole series next time around - I was seriously considering it, but then decided I wanted Half-Life 2 instead.
Since its chances of getting here are snowball's chance in hell:
Portal 2 - 1.49€
Nothing :-) I still have some games on dvd that are tied to Steam that I did not install and tie to my account yet.
Greetings!
Didn't yet get anything, but thinking of getting the Valve complete pack (don't own most of it) since I guess their chance of appearing on GOG are basically non existent and they don't have any 3rd party DRM on them except steamworks (I guess). That would be a good value I guess.

I know this is a bit redundant question, as a few year old topics on such a question would now appear... should we say not very accurate... but can we go a bit off-topic and muse on whether there are any excellent game on steam discounted in this sale that has almost no chance of appearing here on GOG? And 3rd Party DRMs are Not Welcome.
