Has anyone noticed, that if you have multiple games from the same series in your wishlist on Steam, and you put them straight from your wishlist into your shopping cart and buy them, it's possible that you will pay more money without realizing it?

Many game series' on Steam have bundles, so you can buy "XYZ Series Complete Collection" from the game page, which gives you a discount for buying the whole series at once, but you will never get this discount if you just manually put each game in your cart (ie, from your wishlist). And it's impossible to put the bundle itself in your wishlist.

Pretty big omission for such a large store that's been around for so long.

maybe you should tell Steam this? or are you assuming the techs from Steam is reading the gOg forums?

I have literary no idea why you have made this post here....

or do you intend to start posting bugs from other websites you use here as well? I expect your next post to be something like - "The links on PornHub is not clearly marked, and when you go to purchase premium, the boxes are not very responsive. A clear oversight for such a poplar website"

No, but it can't be something Steam staff are not already aware of, they aren't stupid or blind.

Bulb isn't a digital video game retailer? This is a forum for a digital video game retailer, Steam is also a digital video game retailer. Seems related to me.

gOg is also not Steam. I am still not sure why you made this thread with this click bait title

No, never.
I made an account back in the day for Fallout: New Vegas. That was the only reason.

Crosmando: Has anyone noticed
Nope, I almost never buy from Steam, so I have no reason to notice nor care about the type of issue described in the OP.
Don't most people buy from the store page and not from wishlist?
I mean it would be smart to always check the page to make sure it is the right game and to inform yourself on the game.
Don't blame Valve for not automatically making it a bundle when you buy games that might just happen to be a bundle, you should always inform yourself before making any purchasing choices.

Yeah, I usually double-check every discount is applied well.

Yes, it's been like this since they started the "Complete A Bundle" thing for extra & loyalty discounts, some numerous years ago.

This is, more or less, the "Loyalty" Discounts section - for those owning XYZ games and so you can complete a bundle.

Seriously, ALWAYS check a Game's Steam page/Bundle's Steam page and its "Complete A Bundle" section with the "?" symbol - as usually, you can get games cheaper by completing the bundle thing, beating the price or what you're missing alone.

Yep, I always have.

Even before they did the "Complete A Bundle" thing, some games got extra discounts for Loyalty Discounts - IIRC, STALKER series did this years ago.

"Complete A Bundle" is always the way to go, for Loyalty Discounts these days - especially if you buy games from said franchise, series, developer, publishers, etc etc.
