I saw this an got a smile on my face. The screen shots look good! Count me excited about it!
Anyone else?
The premise with a time loop and tactics seems interesting. But I had too many disappointments in later years with games that promised much and delivered very little. I'll wait until release.

Must have been Time Travellers using Mr. Kozyrev's mirrors, caring for their people. Some good people are living in Siberia. e.g. Masha and a Bear.

I am super excited about this reality simulator. Makes our world, bearable.

I'm a big fan of the Stargate series as a whole. I have always been surprised by the fact there have been very few games made from the series. There are so many possibilities for well thought out adventures.
It combines a TV and movie franchise with a subgenre of game I like. There's definitely potential. But equally it could wind up lacking the variety that made the XCOM reboot so successful.

We'll see. I'm interested, but I refuse to get my hopes too high.
I was not expecting to see a Stargate game, especially in 2022.
I think the last stargate game was like in 2009 and it didn't really sell that much?

A tactics game seems to be a good fit.

Of all of the series to receive an XCOM-like game, it really should have been Stargate. They both have similar premises.

I watched the original Stargate movie, which I liked at the time. I never got around to following the rest of the franchise though.
The game looks pretty. I really like the snow world screen shots. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to pass on it as my laptop fails the recommend requirements very hard, so I don't think it will run well on my PC. Fortunately, Stargate is something that I only know about not never really followed thus won't be loosing any sleep over it.

I'm glad for the Stargate fans that have computers that can run this. Hopefully the game will be as fun as it is pretty. :)
I would love to return to the Stargate SG-1 universe, so I'll keep an eye on this.

You missed out. If you enjoyed the movie the series will not disappoint you. It starts out slow, but it picks up fast.

Indeed. Stargate SG-1 is one of the best shows ever made. Atlantis is a worthy successor. Avoid Universe like the plague though.

I gotta disagree about SGU. I liked it! Season 3 was going to take it to the next level but sadly...
A tactics game in the Stargate universe sounds good. I would have preferred the original SG-1 team but maybe getting the actors/soundalikes for the voices would have been difficult.
What I'm hoping they go is span the whole of the series timeline, from the Gu'auld to the Ori and beyond! There is so much potential there!

Man that would of been so cool, as I love SG-1 (its the only Stargate fanchise I own every episode on DVD atm). But as you say money and time issues would be a big thing but can you imagine being bossed around in game by Richard Dean Anderson (Jack O'Neill) would be amazing.
