I hate this aspect of franchise movies, I really do. They're scared of change, so they bring back dead or finished characters constantly. Hopefully the emperor is just an evil force ghost or something, but even then it's lame-o.

darthspudius: Despite the fact you're on the money, you're going to get shredded for this lol.

Emob78: Don't care. Last time I checked there weren't any safe space rooms in the theater. Though there may be one in the lobby, where all the concession stands are! Time to regroup and grab a snack. That'll be $439 space bucks for the small popcorn... another $320 bones for that XL 'THE FORCE IS FEMALE' shirt.
Good stuff lol. I'd add to your comment and have a bit of fun, but mods on this forum follow me everywhere or some soy loving spoon likes to report things.

Of course not. They need a big bad guy for Rey to kill to prove how awesome Mary Sue's are and how men couldn't finish Palpatine off properly.

For the record my complaint about flogging characters has nothing to do with your weird gender issues.
"No one's ever really gone" is a new level of absurdity, these new movies really are just big budget Fan fiction from JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson. :P

Paulo_Moura69: I have lost the hype for the franchise, I will pass the theater release and watch it later on the streaming service.
None of the post original trilogy films have come close to being as good as the original 3.
Don't like the Disney fllms at all, but the prequels were overall not very good either. ROTS was the best of the lot, but that was only "{Pretty good" nowhere neare the originals.
Yes, Disney and Kennedy deserve a lot of criticism, but so does George...he messed up the SR Winverse with the first two prequels.

It's the saem as "Comic Book Deaths", really.

DadJoke007: I would like to see Jar Jar Binks in some kind of twisted horror Star Wars spin-off. Preferably it ends with him dying painfully.
avatar
morolf: I thought it had been established that Jar Jar is a Sith Lord and has orchestrated all the events of the Star wars movies so far, so he definitely should get his own movie.
Nah, Jar Jar is so disgusting that even the Sith don't want anything to do with him.

To be fair nostalgia and their classic status makes this kind of hard to judge. I know 90s babies who grew up on the prequels in their formative years and swear those movies are classics and better than the "old" original trilogy. These things can vary depending on the person.

To me the Disney films are mostly tired and redundant, rather than bad. If I was 12 years old today though, who knows...
My wife being a hardcore Star Wars fan, I'm writing this while hiding in the glove compartment of my car (the only place she will never check). Here we go...

I LOVE THE PREQUEL TRILOGY!!

Describe any of the characters from the prequels without mentioning what they look like, or their job.

Whenever SW ep I comes on tv, it doesn't matter what I might be busy doing, I always drop everything and watch the pod race on a chair (that I especially move in front of the tv for the special occasion)
