May the 4th come to GOG.com!

Star Wars Day™ is near, a time when the world comes together to celebrate the long, long history of a galaxy far, far away. And so it is, once again we combine forces with Lucasfilm and Disney to join in on upcoming May the 4th celebrations the way we know best: with new releases, a classic Digital Premiere, and peecha chakka no wookie boonowa tweepi Saleo. Ho, ho, ho, hooo.

What do we have in store this week?

-- Star Wars: Rebel Assault I & II - a new digital premiere. The famous live-action, FMV rail shooter returns - blast through the ranks of the Galactic Empire, revisit familiar movie locations, and experience the rebel assault. Both of the classic titles come in one DRM-free package for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux!

-- Collector's CD-ROM editions of: Star Wars™ X-Wing and Star Wars™ TIE-Fighter. The space-flight simulators finally become complete exclusively on GOG.com. The Collectors Edition, often considered the absolute re-release, combines upgraded graphics with the classic MUSE sound system, and a refined flight engine. It's a free upgrade to all of you that own it, and comes with every new purchase as well.

-- Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast and Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy now on GOG.com. Are these the best lightsaber swingin', force-pushin' simulators ever made? Search your feelings, you know it to be true.

-- Two big bundles, with every remaining Star Wars™ game on GOG.com:
Blaster Bundle - with 7 titles including the upgraded Star Wars X-Wing & TIE-Fighter series, and more Lucasfilm games brought back into the digital world from old CDs and dusty floppy disks.
Saber Bundle - with 10 games at a flat 77% off, including Star Wars Battlefront II, Knights of the Old Republic I & II, the two Dark Forces games, and our two new completely new releases: Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast & Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

Grab your blaster, wield your saber, and celebrate the days counting down to May the 4th with us! The entire shebang will last until Thursday, May 7, 6:59 AM GMT.

Licurg: Summer, spring, same thing.
In my imagination you just became one of these gamers, who sits in their room all day long with all shutters down and who never goes outside or sees the light of day. :P

That's not true ! I go out to buy beer sometimes .

cal74: For any GOG staff reading this, you did a great job clarifying the situation on the X-Wing page (by updating the description and adding a note at the top of every review) but it looks like it has not been done for TIE Fighter since there are no references to the 1995 in the description and no note in the reviews.

Since the first review is mainly complaining about the lack of Collector's CD-ROM Edition, it might be a good idea to update that page.
We're working on it :)
I'm honestly not sure if GOG.com loves or hates me. On the one hand, I swore to myself not to buy any new games for a while. On the other hand, it's a ton of frickin' great games for 13€!
Yeah yeah, go on and just take my entire metaphorical wallet...
hi all
Any chance to see Star wars ep 1 racer on GOG ?
sry for english
Nice Star Wars day sale. Will have to pass it this time. Maybe in the next sale Empire at War will be more affordable.

Edit: Still waiting for Mysteries of the Sith.

Edit 2: Was informed that Mysteries of the Sith is included in the Dark Forces 2 package.

Congratulations. With Rebel Assault 1 and 2 being available, I can now literally buy and play every game I enjoyed in childhood all over again. It might seem like a small thing to you guys, but playing those games are some of my all to few happy memories of childhood.

I don't even know how to begin to thank you guys.

Waiting how? It's part of the Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II GOG release. Always has been, to my knowledge...

I'd never bought so many games on a single sale... Damn GOG, you took my money! Worst thing is, I don't regret it

Thanks for the explanation. I did not know that. When I played the game over a decade ago it was a standalone game separate from Dark Forces II which is probably what mixed me up.

Thx for your explanation too :)

All right, transaction completed. ;) My shelf looks a tad bit bigger now: (and my wishlist a tad bit smaller!)

Thanks again GOG/Disney. Hope we can see more releases and sales in the future.

It's an expansion that requires the original game; however, I do believe that there was a standalone demo specifically for it.
Way to expensive for my tastes, besides I got some already on Steam and they don't all run really well, so...

At least Disney isn't pulling regionnal disparity in their pricing scheme (apparently), which makes them better than some indies in my book! :3

More SW on the catalog is nice though (original trilogy at least XP).

TrevorWilliams: Nice early May the Fourth celebration. Saber bundle price too good to resist.
May the first you certainly mean. :P
