May the 4th come to GOG.com!

Star Wars Day™ is near, a time when the world comes together to celebrate the long, long history of a galaxy far, far away. And so it is, once again we combine forces with Lucasfilm and Disney to join in on upcoming May the 4th celebrations the way we know best: with new releases, a classic Digital Premiere, and peecha chakka no wookie boonowa tweepi Saleo. Ho, ho, ho, hooo.

What do we have in store this week?

-- Star Wars: Rebel Assault I & II - a new digital premiere. The famous live-action, FMV rail shooter returns - blast through the ranks of the Galactic Empire, revisit familiar movie locations, and experience the rebel assault. Both of the classic titles come in one DRM-free package for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux!

-- Collector's CD-ROM editions of: Star Wars™ X-Wing and Star Wars™ TIE-Fighter. The space-flight simulators finally become complete exclusively on GOG.com. The Collectors Edition, often considered the absolute re-release, combines upgraded graphics with the classic MUSE sound system, and a refined flight engine. It's a free upgrade to all of you that own it, and comes with every new purchase as well.

-- Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast and Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy now on GOG.com. Are these the best lightsaber swingin', force-pushin' simulators ever made? Search your feelings, you know it to be true.

-- Two big bundles, with every remaining Star Wars™ game on GOG.com:
Blaster Bundle - with 7 titles including the upgraded Star Wars X-Wing & TIE-Fighter series, and more Lucasfilm games brought back into the digital world from old CDs and dusty floppy disks.
Saber Bundle - with 10 games at a flat 77% off, including Star Wars Battlefront II, Knights of the Old Republic I & II, the two Dark Forces games, and our two new completely new releases: Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast & Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

Grab your blaster, wield your saber, and celebrate the days counting down to May the 4th with us! The entire shebang will last until Thursday, May 7, 6:59 AM GMT.

ozzyoscy: I used to have Jedi Knight + Mysteries of the Sith, I guess I must've sold it. I really really wanted it, because of Darth Vader having a saber battle against you on the cover. It was all lies!
Well, you can use Darth Vader model for multiplayer :)
My poor MotS disc (Mara vs. Rancor on the cover) died due to heavy overuse :)

I didn't even understand how to make the multiplayer works, all this TTP, LAN, random abbreviations and words like 'ports' that meant nothing.

I also had a demo of Yoda Stories I played a LOT. Now that's retro.

Mauller: Damnit! I unfortunately just lost my job and this isn't in the new budget. I hope these go on sale again, I want that Blaster Bundle so bad!
Hope you find something soon dude! Good luck!
Grabbed what I was missing from the Saber Bundle. Very nice deal...
I wish I could grab Rebellion and Galactic Battlegrounds as well without the rest of the bundle.
Bought the Sabre deal.
These are games worth buying multiple times.

At the time I missed Mysteries of the SIth... can't wait to play it... from beginning!

I'd pay full 9.99 if that game was on GOG! I remember playing the hell out of that snowy demo :)
One thing that would be cool for May 4th, when the actual day comes: the new digital re-releases of the Star Wars films arriving on GOG. If they could get the original theatrical versions of the classic films, that would be nice too.

I was always a little confused with out the SW Mythos fits in with Mara Jade and that game. It's like a separate time line or something. Of course my knowledge about this is much lesser than some so maybe I'm just missing something.

I don't think I've understood the question.
And I don't know about SW mythos... not I'm sure that I car about it.

Actually that would be the only reason for me to buy the movies again. I've already skipped the awful Blu-rays, and for now the Despecialized Editions are more than enough for me.
Does SW Empire at War has some kind of story mode or is it just a conquest/galaxy thing? I remember back then not getting interested in it because of something like that...

Yeah it has a story campaign where you can play as Rebells or the Empire.

Force of Corruption adds the campaign for The Consortium.

Oh right, now i remember, it was that build/transport troops on planets that turned me off.

What confuses you here? SPOILERS It's happening during the Dark Empire crisis. Luke is on Byss \ Ossus, Han and Leia defend themselves against bounty hunters on Nar Shaadda, Lando fights on Mon Calamari \ Byss, Empire is a powerful force once again, due to heavier focus on Dark Side \ Sith teachings in that time Kyle discovers Dromund Kaas, Mara is one of few capable agents New Republic can use. /SPOILERS
