GameRager: How was it anti-PC? They treated most races(barring the ones who warred with them) fairly for the most part, they allowed minorities/women on their crews in near equal numbers(even in the oldest series), etc.
WUT?!!!! Since when Political Correctness is about fair treatment? Honestly. Political Correctness is censorship in favor of minorities - even wikipedia says that.

People who are anti-PC are simply against censorship. Sure such people can say mean things, but they say those about everyone - and that IS fair treatment.

As for the most anti-PC moment in Star Trek - here is a quote from "Savage Curtain" episode:

Lincolt: "What a charming Negress. Oh, forgive me, my dear. I know that in my time some used that term as a description of property."
Uhura: "But why should I object to that term, sir? You see, in our century we've learned not to fear words."
That's quintessense of what Political Correctness is NOT. There was also some anti-censorship episode, but I don't remember the name.

I thought you were talking anti-pc as in pro-racist/bigoted/etc stuff, and not anti-s*w type pc stuff...my bad.

Sounds like we as a society could learn a thing or 3 from that episode.....also I think Morgan Freeman said something similar(Don't talk about it or get bothered by people using such words) and he got lambasted by his own people for it.

(Also enough offtopic so as to not derail the thread any more.....I would gladly discuss this in my clown world thread or via PM any time, though)
