Looks pretty good. But I feel this is not gonna be a random adventure per episode type of show.
Test bump.

My thread is not appearing in the forums.

I saw it, impressed but still worried.

also some notes

Johnathan Del Arco (Hugh) is also going to be in the show and considering that the borg seem to be the focus for S1 that makes sense.

Riker and Troi will appear in S1 at some point.

also it seems 7's human side has established itself more.
im no trekkie but enjoyed the different shows over the years.

havent bothered with that other recent show (wtf was that?).

this actually looks solid enough on all fronts as a first glimpse - but they can bugger off with any subscription service streaming requirements.

im not even on about that. dont agree with it.

while i still have the benefit of getting review copies from companies that dont keep their lists up to date, ill just wait for it to be on freeview, or cheap on dvd secind hand if they want to paywall it behind some crappy streaming service.

sub services are stupid, I refuse to pay for it, even by buying DVDs but too each their own.
After Discovery I have very low expectations. Still, this actually looks a bit better than I feared. My biggest fear by far is that they are going to "Last Jedi" Picard. But seeing this trailer doesn't feel like that, especially seeing him smile as he says "engage". And I'll admit, it's cool to see Seven, she was my favorite character on Voyager. I hope her role is more than just a glorified cameo.

I just wish we would see Picard back on a proper starfleet ship, not this Firefly/Farscape/Blake's 7 rag-tag whatever it is shit. I still hope to see the action will eventually shift to Enterprise commanded by Worf or Tuvok or something like that.
They CGI'd Data!! Only a few seconds in the trailer, but it looked a lot more convincing than Tarkin.

Probably because Brent Spiner is still, you know, alive and actually there.

Though to be honest I thought Tarkin looked pretty damn good. It wass Leia that they failed with.

I want to belive, that this will be a good show.
Indeed, the fact that there is plot rolled out for the Picard show is very much an exciting prospect as well as seeing Seven of Nine in the trailer. Makes me feel old but nonetheless excited for the continuation of TNG making both old memories and new collide.

I however am not going to get a CBS sub and will just wait till it hits digital storefronts in 2020. Can't wait to see it!

Kinda have to otherwise they'd have to explain an aging android. I mean Soong could have made an aging android but it certainly wouldn't age while blown up ;)

Any yes, I actually want to see this, but I'll keep my expectations low.

I remember that they said that Data would age during TNG.

I agree.

And Picard, Data AND Seven of Nine all together (along rumours about Riker and Troi joining, too) ? Yeah! :)

Also nice to see that it runs on Amazon Prime - that means I can watch it directly at release.
