I personally prefer Torchlight 1.
The Alchemist is just so much fun in comparison to the other classes.
What other class could I wield dual pistols while having all my minions attacking and murdering everything in sight?

sai: Torchlight is a great game. It's just a lot of people already have it one way or another. But for those who don't have it I recommend it.
Fully assist: its a lot of fun also because it doesnt take itself too serious

Welcome and glad you're back. I added to your list a couple times but had a LOT of trouble getting it all to post too. I must be out of a reagent or two to get the spell to work. :-)

HypersomniacLive: Ah, sorry - misunderstanding. The reason we older members comment the way we do about Torchlight is because it was given for free here on GOG quite some time ago (maybe even a year ago, don't remember exactly), i.e. everybody and their cat got it. Lots of folks stocked up on gift-codes for it and some still have a hard time giving them away. I myself got only two back then, gave one to a friend and gifted the other one only recently in a giveaway as I had forgotten that I still had one.

You are going to enjoy it, no worries.
Maybe I should have just asked if anyone wanted to trade before it came up, and before buying. Oh well, I don't mind paying for decent games.

For a moment I was really confused. Then I realised you must have misclicked :)
Still, thanks for the info... as I don't own either game so I at least have a viewpoint to go by when I do decide to pick one up.

I think I'm also out of a reagent or two to get anything free from GoG: 23 games purchased so far (about 15 more than I originally planned lol), but nothing free. Even so, heck of a haul for just under $50. :-)

It is a decent game and the reward system is rewarding indeed. We must not give torchlight away for free or the counter will go up by people wanting their money back. ;D

vulchor: Going to Germany for my sister's wedding, and at the same time a band that I'm friends with is touring Europe and Denmark will be a stop on our way from The Netherlands to Sweden. I'm be doing merchandise for those guys if all goes as planned.

I'd be selling, but I also did the layout for their CD and Vinyl. I can't say the name of the band until the tour is officially announced, but they're probably going to be doing an indie-go-go campaign here in the next few months which would count as an announcement of sorts, so I'd be free to talk about it then.

Anyway, they are a doom metal band from North Dakota with a song on youtube with over 500,000 views, if that helps.

I have no idea how to say this without sounding snarky, not my intention. Have you tried asking him directly? "I need to sleep now, but the guest bedroom has wifi too." Hints sometimes don't translate well between cultures, he might enjoy staying up late and take your comments as encouragement. Look at us here pointing out how tired we are all the time without any intention to go to bed.
