Is there a multiplayer mode for Painkiller? I forget.
Yep, Painkiller is some brilliant old school rampage. I already own it with an inferior service, might grab this just so that's one more reason I never have to install the StopGame App again.

It wasn't so bad when Stardock owned Impulse, but GameStop turned it into a hunk of dogshit.

mc_leod: To be honest the film is not a good one
the first Otto from 1985 (gosh - getting old) is better
but german humor is generally not realy famous.
Nothing compareable to the wonderful black british stuff - not just the old Monty Pythons also your newer elite like
stuff of Shaun of dead almost everything with simon pegg or the numerous series.
And not to forget: *first i kneel down* the masters of humourous storywritting Douglas Adams Terry Pratchett etc.

sune42: I love Terry Pratchett. The world will lose an amazing mind when he's gone, but I heard his daughter was going to carry on writing Diskworld books.
Yes i dont know anyone else with such brilliant linguistic proficiency
*ah sounds just right never used this words* - for getting things not just said right or hilarious
its also his really wonderful deep philosophical thoughts between all this humour and tension
- but some of his last books (dont have the new ones yet) got at least here in germany
mixed reviews, some say translation is not as good as it was with the first 20 books, some say he writes already with cowriter/his daughter. Anyhow I wish him that he still write dozens of books
Nice to see some quick sellers coming up now, things feel like they are moving along again.

Gamecard says yes.

Grargar: Yes.
Is it any good? I gave up on the single player campaign but I was thinking of buying a copy for a friend.

IAmSinistar: Ugh, just looked at the list and realised I had forgotten about The Book Of Unmoving Sales. The waters ahead are murky indeed. Now I recall what was so brutal about Insomnia last time - the first two rounds pass so smoothly, but by the third you know full well where the horrors lie.

foxworks: We asked for it, so best buckle up! :D
We did indeed. So the likely deadspots in the remaining titles are:

Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers
Humans Must Answer
The Book Of Unwritten Tales: The Critter Chronicles
Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness
and maybe Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall

On the plus side there are some pairs that will probably sell in seconds, like the Betrayal at Krondor/FTL combo. But honestly I expect overall for this to drag well through Friday, maybe even into Saturday.

sune42: I want to play a wizard.
avatar
JMich: I think you mean a wizzard.
I'm misspelling all kinds of stuff today. I fixed loose/lose but in my defense spell check didn't pick up wizard.
avatar
vulchor: I've seen some pretty funny German animated porn VHS when I was much younger. We live in an area that is 90%+ descendant from Scandinavian/German, and for some reason I always associated German humor with ridiculous cartoon pornography.
avatar
lowtechgeek: Do you live in MN?
West-Central MN, right on the Red River.

edit: damn cardinal directions confused me. Used to live on the east side of North Dakota.

Alien8n: I speak to Rhianna now and then, I'm not aware of her doing any discworld books. She's very much promoting female game writers at the moment, has some really good commentary on where a lot of games designers go wrong.
avatar
sune42: I stand corrected. This was information passed to me from my ex husband. He liked to talk out his ass a lot, part of the reason why he's an ex I guess.
Well I haven't really spoken to Terry in years, but Rhianna I chat to on and off. She's as nice as her father is, always happy to talk. I doubt she'll write a discworld novel to be honest, her writing style is much grittier. She wrote the Mirror's Edge comic (as well as the game story). I understand she's also working on the TV adaptations of some of the discworld novels.
