Yes, I did finish Longest Journey some 10 years ago, but did not like it much. It's slightly better for the variability and for more complex, albeit not very original plot.

However, all the little fluffy BenBanda, Crow, and other insufferable cuddly Jar-Jar-Binx style little "friends" make the game difficult to play.

I would give it 7 out of 10, mostly for the effort that went into the lore and storytelling.

I didn't even get to touch one of those until after high school.

Btw, the Ether One dev got back to me about my issues running the game. Apparently his mother had the exact same problem. He gave me some setting advice and now I can run it ;-) Also he's working with Intel to tweak the game settings so it runs better on laptops. I do love me a responsive developer!
