opinions on syberia series?
is the story interesting, gameplay good and does it end properly?

Is an exelent game, really emotive plot, and beatifull detailed steam punk environments. of course if you like graphic adventure genere I'll recommend to you.

Kamamura: Syberia is a game from the era when a cute female protagonist and artsy landscapes and locations were considered enough for a good adventure game.

Syberia is as cold and barren as it is devoid of meaningful interactions and solid characters and storytelling, substituting vague femaleness, cutility and lonelation for a true, meaty and contentful adventure game.

Puzzle sickness is not a substitute for a quality plot!!!

6/10 for the cute art.

This is just like Cognition. It looks interesting, but I'd never finish it. Be stuck in the first room the whole time attacking her shirt with the hand icon.

Beware though, my taste is highly peculiar. Many fell for Syberia's shallow girliness, silly dolts.

If you are all soft and feminine inside, add 2 points to the score.

Yes, it's one of my favourite adventure games, but I like artsy games. If you like images of loneliness, melancholy and neglect, you'll definitely like this one. The story gets its closure only at the end of the second game, but the first game is definitely superior to its sequel. Syberia 2 just feels emptier and lacks much of the atmosphere of the first game.

Syberia is an absolutely fantastic game. I first played it when it came out new and then of course Syberia 2 which is equally fantastic. It is an adventure point and click where you go a through a fantastic adventure. The scenery is beautiful and lots of characters to interact with. I don't want to say too much more. It has been years since I played it but I look forward to revisiting it again. If you loved the Longest Journey you would love this too.
