Niggles: You might be right it could be superior, however people coming to GOG wont have a clue its available. Besides people are more likely to remember or want the original

I own Star Control 2 on the floppy disk, it's not even installable today, it features an irritating map-based copy protection, etc.

I encourage everyone to check Ur Quan Masters, I found it to be quite good.
U want to buy up all the spare copies customers wont buy because people grab the free version instead?

It won't take me nearly as long as the rest of my backlog. I bought one game: Full Spectrum Warrior - Ten Hammers. I've already got all the games I want, I don't have a wishlist, just stick around here for the fun of the Promo threads.

Well I bought raiden as my first game on gog :) I rather wish I had read past the first page of reviews first :( It is awesome. But the framerate goes to shit fairly quickly once you get to the faster parts with more enemies on screen (and I have a nice gaming pc too) :( Oh well. Otherwise it would be a great retro shoot em up :/
