Stefson: So how many games has everyone bought the last couple of days? And how long is it going to take for you to play through all of them ;-)
avatar
ChozoTull: Not that many actually ... Riven, Uru, Gomo, Arcanum, Shadowrun, Invisible War, Ring runner, Lone Survivor, Valdis Story, Symphony :3 (that's 10)
Well i think for most of us the rate of buyed games to played games
is a little bit - well steep ;-)
But i think with help of support you can still change some to giftcodes...

- Because EVERYONE here wants to have some needs for the next insomnia!

Pica-Ludica: The only vertical shmup I've ever played was waaaay back when I was a kid, and it's actually on GOG. :) It's called Raptor. I'm not a shmup person at all so I can't say whether it's a good one, but I have fond memories of that title (probably induced by childhood nostalgia, though). It's not part of this sale, but may want to check it out sometime if you haven't already. :)
I played Raptor when I was younger, it was pretty good! I'm waiting for it to go on sale before buying it, since it's a game I already know, but I'll definitely get it, sooner or later.
Thanks for the suggestion! I HEARTILY advise you to play Tyrian, if you haven't already, it's an excellent game (one of my favourite ever and probably the one I played the most).

dr.gun: Does anyone want to trade a giftable copy of SiN (which I missed) with the coming up Bard's Tale? (If the prices are comparable - don't know what Bard's price will be...)
avatar
Ungunbu: page 1 of this 3d has a list of games with all prices
Thanks for the hint. Bard is only half the price... I will wait for another "expensive" one.

Or maybe, as I start to annoy myself, I should cut the crap and just buy SiN for the regular price. :D

Dawnreader: Any chances that somebody doesn't have Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition ?

First who will answer the how long Duke Nukem Forever was in development will get it.
avatar
jetarr: Forever! :P Or was it 20 years?

Also: Already have the Plutonium edition or whatever the steam edition was called, so feel free to give the code to someone else.

Also also: Kudos for giving stuff away :D
14 years - Thanks for giving aways - but i have it already...
Off for a toilet break and shower, please keep me posted on what shows up.
Later.
I don't know why everyone craves Star Control so much, when there is a far superior remake called "Ur Quan Masters" that is completely free.

Check it out:

Heh, that`s quite optimistic I would say.
If you don`t plan to shower for 3 hours, then there is quite a good chance Raiden will be still there.

You might be right it could be superior, however people coming to GOG wont have a clue its available. Besides people are more likely to remember or want the original

I got that - and a virus to go with it. I deleted it pretty quickly after.

But it removes many of the bothersome aspects of the original.

I own Star Control 2 on the floppy disk, it's not even installable today, it features an irritating map-based copy protection, etc.

I encourage everyone to check Ur Quan Masters, I found it to be quite good.
Yay Raiden! Somehow I didn't notice this was in the sale. Ultra-bonus :)

Melhelix: If you like shumps you might like Deimos Rising. It's an oldie, but a goody (I just keep playing the trial, heh).

I have to admit, I always keep a list off to the side so I know how much I've spent. Especially after the Fall Insomnia sale. *cough*
Whoops, I skipped your post, sorry. Oldies are totally fine with me (I have an old system AND a retrogamer taste), thanks for this! I'll check it =3.

I take it the Keane park has stalled SQ + PQ from coming up, right? :o

I don't believe that it's possible to upload an infected binary on sourceforge. You problably downloaded from some shady site.

Anyway, I used the Linux version, you can compile the source yourself.
