I'm not big into managing games, although I have to play more GalCiv :3
As much fun as I've had sitting around reading this thread all day, it's 3:30 in the morning, and I think I need some sleep. Hopefully GOG doesn't decide to put up Star Control for the next 6 hours. Good luck to everybody, I hope you get the games you're looking for.
I just realized I actually dreamt there was a skip butto which would count as a buy in the interface. I clicked on it and thought "uh, I guess it was here all along o:"

The things this website is doing to my braine
Good night Hazay!

....creeeeepy. I just zoomed out on the main page, there are legs in the picture! Not just shoes. Weiiiird.

Edit: Welp, now I feel silly. I guess they were always there, I just normally view everything zoomed in a touch or two. I'll just... I'll just wander off this way then.

LVEB: Like Dawnreader said, you can actually do that. Just write to support and explain that you want the game converted to a gift code. I don't know if it still has to show as 'new' in the shelf or not, but you should probably want to write them sooner rather than later
Well, I just wrote to support about 2 games I got during the Luck o' the Irish sale that I've never downloaded - let's see if such late conversion is possible...
So how many games has everyone bought the last couple of days? And how long is it going to take for you to play through all of them ;-)

Wait, what? You have to actually play the games you buy during the insomnia sale? But that's going to take forever!

Not that many actually ... Riven, Uru, Gomo, Arcanum, Shadowrun, Invisible War, Ring runner, Lone Survivor, Valdis Story, Symphony :3 (that's 10)
Does anyone want to trade a giftable copy of SiN (which I missed) with the coming up Bard's Tale? (If the prices are comparable - don't know what Bard's price will be...)
So you say I should contact GOG support (after the sale) to turn all my freebies into gift codes?

I'm not sure it's the way to go, for the most part I rather have the option to try a new game/genre,
and even If I didn't like it, well it was free after all, so no harm done.
And If I happen to be given for free a game I REALLY wanted to gift, I'll probabbly BUY THE CODE myself anyways... oh wait - I can't - as getting a freebie locks the option to checkout after the win. This will require tech then.
Then again, they gave people the chance of getting a gift code at the begining of the sale so it might be changed only to ease server strain, and they might expect us to contact them when the sale is over?

Regarding my "Buy now" clicking pattern
- I have allot of games I'm interested in, but a very limited budget (and limited time to play, not playing what I allready have),
So every time something interesting comes along, as long as I'm arround >Waiting for the handfull of games I'm actually interested in buying< I'll click the Buy now whenever I can.
This proved to be working, as I got at least a chance in every game I saw and was after in some way or another,
and did net me a couple of freebies + a code some kind soul sent me for trine.
I figure it's my "pay" for hanging around here for so many hours, multiple times posting the list and its whatnots in the previous rounds, and ditching RL alltogether...
But getting to ACTUALLY BUYING the games I'm really after in this promo would be the (supposed* to be) real pay :)

For the mean time, I feel previliged to even be a part of this wonderfull comunity, the lack of would made me leave this sale a very very long time ago and just wait for my games to appear at a later promo or whatnot!
So thank you guys and gals for being SO GREAT making getting free games the only second* best thing on GOG! :)

* The third being actually buying the games in those prices, I remember a time when this was the main reason... oh well XD

I only picked up seven... which still was about four more than I originally intended.

I bought 8 games. Spent below $25. However, I just realized that the main cost of this sale came from other sources for me. To keep myself from getting bored, I browsed the "Games" section on Kickstarter and ended up pledging $50. So much for saving money with this sale! ;-)
