ahmedshaltout: loll!! .. well 95 left.. whatever everyone's doing is working :D

Tarnicus: I've also found that I can *think* copies of Theme Park into being sold if I focus intensely on the counter and put out almost like an opposite energy of The Secret, i.e. that of repulsion rather than attraction, the counter starts GOING DOWN!

Observe and I'll prove it...
LAW OF REPLUSION FTW!! :D XD

or more like law of attraction that makes people go "heyyy.. i haven't been on GOG for a long time.. lets check it out.. oh cool a sale.. i like theme park"

and ppl aroudn the word are getting psychic vibes makign them open gog.com for the 1st time in a while cuz they got bored of Steam :D

Tooms: You froze it on 64...
It was at 67 when I focused intensely on it!

Hmmmmm.... Sorry, not convinced. Have you done your sitting quietly and breathing deeply yet?
I;m definitely refining this power as that time I didn't even have to look at the counter! OMFG David Copperfield you're out of a job mate, I know REAL magic not mere sleight of hand and illusion!

phandom: Jack Keane would be over by now.
Humans must answer would be over by now.
Time Commando would be over by now.
The new bane is......
A True Keane isn't measured by time, but by copies/time.

By that measure, no games in this round come close to being a Keane.

It's working, though! 52 copies to go!

And then Humans Must Answer shows up. Followed by the Alan Wake expansion. Followed by Tomb Raider. 1,500 copies apiece. The universe tests your power....

jimnorth: SCIENCE!

ahmedshaltout: ALIENS!
Let's get those missiles ready to destroy the universe!

Tarnicus: EGGSACTLY! Reminds me of so many medical studies I've read where they seem to fail to understand the difference between causality and correlation :D
Ugh, I know that pain. Me and one of my buddies are more the scientific minded types, and an ex-roommate of mine was a much more flighty type who was just about ready to believe anything and everything that floated in between his ears. I lost count of the number of times we had to remind him of the difference between causation and correlation. :P

foxworks: I thoroughly enjoyed Alan Wake, but haven't had a chance to play American Nightmare....it's in the pit i call the backlog ;)
Oh man, if you really enjoyed the first game, you owe it to yourself to play the second! It's much shorter, but they make up for it with a much more open world experience like they had originally intended for AW, much tighter controls, a great twisty story, and an absolutely fantastic antagonist! As far as I'm concerned, if they ever do end up making another Alan Wake game, it's actually going to be Alan Wake 3 'cause American Nightmare is just to good to be nothing more than an addon, an addendum, an epilogue, or a side story. It's a full sequel in its own right, and it is glorious.

infinityeight: Just what do we do with ourselves while waiting for the countdown to run out on Theme Park (and the games after that)?

Inquiring minds what to know: aside from hanging out on the forum and trying to move the countdown gauge through your powers of telekinesis, how are you passing the time?

I'll go first: I'm grading end-of-semester papers.

Tarnicus: You're a timetraveller!!! Look at my post a mere 6 posts BELOW yours. You knew what I was doing before I said it. WOW!
My psychic powers allow me to detect the powers of others. ;-)
Ah, finally less than 50 copies left! So it will only take one more hour to get rid of Theme Park! :D

Give it some time......

How many copies/time is Keane?

Ah you misunderstand my friend. I am not focusing on humans anymore and trying to encourage them to come to the game, I'm doing the opposite - I'm shooting copies out into cyberspace WITH THE POWER OF MY MIND!

More like 10 minutes at this rate. It's selling far faster than Time Commando yesterday.
