Neverfree: Just noticed I actually have a Hammerwatch checkout tab opened still, wonder if it still works?
avatar
eiii: Did it work? Would be interesting to know how long such a tab stays valid.
(Sorry if I may have overlooked your answer. I'm just slow and you folks are chatty. :P)
I didn't actually buy it, but I hit process order which takes you to log in to pay pal. Seems to be working though, it's asking for my pay pal info

odbo255: So.... I tried the gift to yourself method.

Should I be worried that I didn't receive a "gift" email?

I show a gift under my "gifts" tab as being sent with a code...
avatar
foxworks: Did you type in the email address correctly? You can always have the email resent from the gifts tab :)

sharp299: I'm not sure but was Theme Park on the last insomnia sale, I remembered saw it...
avatar
foxworks: I don't think so. Theme Hospital was :D
I knew it and I also was the same insane amount of copies!... D:

jackster79: Man... was really hoping it was not one of those whose puzzle solutions are illogical (and not even in a wacky, Monkey-Island-out-there-kind-of-way).

Maybe I should just give in and used the W, and think of it as someone from HQ stepping the teen through his situations via a hidden earpiece.
That would make the game much more awesome than it really was.

Nicole28: Just curious, so far, for rounds 2 and 3, what is the average amount of time a game had taken to move, and what is the longest time clocked to date? (Roughly)
avatar
madth3: Longest has been Time Commando with 4:41 minutes if my memory serves me still.
HMA cant have been too far behind

mobeck: Holy Smokes you guys! I just started playing Space Quest 4 and it has full voice narration! I haven't played this since it was on floppy disks so this blows my mind.

Does Kings Quest And police quest have the same? Now I regret passing on kings quest.
avatar
Exoanthrope: Yeah, I still have my original SQ4 CD, Gary Owens as narrator is the best. Only Police Quest 4 had voice acting, and I think King's Quest only had it in later titles as well, but I never played those.
Good to know! Thank you.

vulchor: Okay, because of this snoozer, I'm finally going to finish my work for the day and get the f out of here and enjoy what's left of my 30th birthday. See ya all when Theme Park is done, and I can continue my vigil for Democracy 3 for myself and Alien.
Happy Birthday!
Does anyone have a list of which games passed since the time stopper last night? (I just got in from work and caught sight of a few games, but I'm not sure if I missed those I was hoping for.)
This is how it was in The Keaning - game after game with huge numbers to get rid of. How did we survive?

Ixamyakxim: So I'm sure I'm violating some sort of unwritten Insomnia GoG rule but I have to know, and now damnit! ;) I'm playing Miasmata (I know, I know a non-insomniac game, what can I say?). Does anyone who has played this game know if I can make the stat increasing drugs more than once? I just made one that jumped my Perception from "Low" to "Normal" - if I make the exact same drug again, will it work? Yes, I'm taking advantage of all the captive Insomnia eyeballs here but I can't wait to get back and play... I figured this was my best shot to get a quick answer ;)
If I remember from when I played the game last year, you're sick so you can only get to a certain state of well being until you develop the cure. So you're either very very sick, very sick, or sick, but you're never supercharged turbo extreme mega healthy. Your default normal is basically "sick" and you don't improve above that until you develop the cure. As long as you take the meds properly when you get sicker than the default sick, you will maintain just being sick, whereas if you don't take them you'll get progressively sicker and die. The meds appear to cure you back to just default sickness and that's it, with one having a longer time duration than the other, and taking several in a row does not stack the time, but rather resets the timer of how long it lasts. I forget the timing of things but lets say the one pills last for 6 hours and the other for 9. If you take any pill any time you'll be ok for that many hours from that point. If you take another pill shortly after you just reset the timer for 6 or 9 hours from that new time point and don't stack it to 18 hours. The numbers I'm using are fabricated though as I don't remember. Think of the meds like Pac-man's power pills, they last for X amount of time and if you eat another one during that time the power-up counter just resets rather than doubling the time or stacking.

Just make sure you can make it back to a safe camp site before 9pm for sure - I recommend getting ready to hoof it to camp no later than 8pm each night, and earlier if you're further away from your closest camp, and always keep meds on hand and plants to make more in the science lab trays, avoid wandering in the night time, and be very careful when wandering in the areas of the map where the monster frequents (where the rare plant ingredients are).

Hope that helps! ;)

Quest for Glory 1-5

Cancelling my earlier request re Long Live The Queen, since I'm back earlier than expected and... apparently there's been some Keaning in my absence.

Thanks, I was racking my brain and came up short :D
Weren't there a lot of people wanting/waiting for Theme Park? Hope they all made it back, I can't remember who any of them were
I think I'd almost rather see those 18,000 copies of Keane 2 now. At least I could be certain there would be no way they would magically disappear in any kind of reasonable time frame, leaving us free to do other things.

I'm pretty sure this will take a long while, but it is Theme Park and at this price I'd be a fool to think it couldn't start flying off the shelves at any second. Especially the second I turn my back on it.
