Theme Park?
I played Roller Coaster Tycoon a million years ago. I know it's a knock off of Theme Park. Is Theme Park worth it, or should I think about getting RCT again if I want to shoot people off roller coasters into space? AKA their doom
Thanks
I personally enjoyed Theme Park much more than RCT. The management was more fun, and the game is just loaded with charm. Plus, there are full motion videos of riding all the different rides. Now, I bought the game again recently (as I last played in 1997) and I don't think it has aged well at all. If the roller coasters are what you are most concerned about, than RCT is probably going to be enough for you.
If experiencing a charming but dated theme park sim with a GREAT management experience, than go for it. Remember to read a manual first, though, because everything is done through hot-keys and keyboard shortcuts. The GUI was amazing for it's day, but that was when not much was expected out of one. there are many management screens that can ONLY be accessed through keyboard shortcuts.
