Looks like I missed Pirates Gold this afternoon while I was at work. Hopefully Star Control comes up sometime in the next little bit.

FoxySage: You should probably edit your post too then, to remove the link in the quoted post. ;)

Guess you ninja'd me while i typed out my post. :P
Duh, too tired to realise I let it slip through, but rectified now. :-)

FoxySage: Speaking of 3.5" floppy disks. I still have my old disks for Settlers 1 and Civilization.

Erufian: 3.5"? I still have 5.25" floppies with King's Quest V. Those were the real floppy disks :P
Oh yeah? Well I've got a copy of Pong I keep on clay tablets!

jackster79: For now I have given up trying to keep up with the playing (wish RL would just get out of the way!) and now just focus on the collecting for that elusive goal. Been tied up with a couple of personal non-GOG gaming projects, one of them reading CRPGAddict's blog and discovering just how many old RPGs have yet to make an appearance here. In some ways, reading his play-throughs it almost feels like I am playing the game by proxy. I make more progress that way than by actually playing the games! XD
In some cases, I can see that. I still like to play through...as was the case with Teenagent. I consider it finished though I used a walkthrough the entire time.
You know what felt like a swift kick in the nuts? Stayed up until like 3 in the morning waiting for a game during the fall sale, finally got it, then is showed up (DRM free) in a freaking Humble Bundle 2 days later!

lmoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK, I need to buy another game from this like I need a hole in my head, but ...

Theme Park?

I played Roller Coaster Tycoon a million years ago. I know it's a knock off of Theme Park. Is Theme Park worth it, or should I think about getting RCT again if I want to shoot people off roller coasters into space? AKA their doom

Thanks
And the pattern continues with a twist!
Up next, Theme Park 75% off, at $1.49. 1400 copies

That's a lot of copies!

Holy Smokes you guys! I just started playing Space Quest 4 and it has full voice narration! I haven't played this since it was on floppy disks so this blows my mind.

Does Kings Quest And police quest have the same? Now I regret passing on kings quest.
1400!?
1400 copies of Theme Park? That just seems like a lot for a very niche game...
1400? Where is Leisure Suit Larry Love for Sail ??? :(
