alecj: Cant believe i just discovered this sale and this awesome community last night......its been a super fun day reading the comments and waiting to see whats next.

I havent gotten anything free but its no biggie. I feel like ive gotten some pretty amazing deals.

I dont know how much longer ill be able to keep my eyes open but i just wanted to say hello to everyone in case i missed the rest of this event....

Thanks for making my first experience here at Gog.com so cool. Ill definitely be back.
Stemmed from curiosity, kind lord, how hath thou learned of GoG's existence upon this world?
*rolls d20* Come on Driftmoon. What? Snake eyes? How is that even possible?!

Conrad57: FYI, just because you mentioned it--using someone else's Wi-Fi WITHOUT their permission can be prosecuted as a federal offense for "unautorized use" of a computer system, a law form 1984 (not the book). Remember, with legal issues, your opinion about whether a law is lame or not is irrelevant, so the "Well if they didn't encrypt it, it's LIKE they were welcoming it" doesn't fly legally. For all I know, your neighbors invited you personally to use it.
I imagine the court could go either direction with that one, and as far as I know there has never been a case yet dealing with that. I've read articles about the police saying that there would be no way for them to take action against someone for this criminally, and it would be very difficult to prove, even with logs.

That said, because of open wi-fi networks, there have been people who were wrongfully charged with things like child porn and piracy, but only one case where I recall that the person in question actually proved his innocence.

Give it a bit, some one will pop up and find out they missed hammerwatch and you can probably gift it to them then.

vulchor: I am serious. So was everyone else when they politely asked you to knock it off. Also, you hadn't edited your post before I started replying so I didn't see your edit about the "loan", but the point stands anyway. You had no clout here and you still went on a begging spree. That's definitely frowned upon.

We're a welcoming bunch, as you found out because someone did end up buying you that game. But I wouldn't expect that to happen very often if you have never really participated here before. Run a few giveaways of your own.

The rep system is not perfect, but it still does have some usefulness. And people will not be buying you games with a minus rep if they don't know you.

Also, while this community does have many giveaways (I've run a few myself), it's built upon more than just that. There's camaraderie here. It's not a place to go asking for hand outs.

Ungunbu: ehm maybe i don't remember it well but i just asked it 2 times and the 2nd was clearly a joke -- i like gog and i don't want people to get mad or anything -- i think you are taking this matter too seriously
Your continued responses make you look more like you are trolling with each post. If you really want to be welcomed here, it might be best to let this go and rebuild rep with helpful posts.

Really??? You made such a big deal about wanting a $1.50 game to the point that someone else bought it for you, and then you just bought a $2 game that you don't want?

Welcome back!
You know what the worst part about this sale is?

The vicious Keanings.

Kidding, seriously though, the worst part is I can't even play what I've bought. I might miss what I'm waiting for!
