Also people buy this game faster, the slower it goes, the less 'lucky' I feel if no one wants to pay for the game in the first place.

It would make a pretty vicious sale if there was a "Skip this" button that lowered the counter just like a purchase. People would have to scramble to get their game before it was voted away.
