Potential buyers should of course know that this game was harmed by a sub-par translation done by a team of Hungarian volunteers.

The proper title is (in French) d'EU Sex, a provocative, controversial and thoughtful gaming experiment depicting the various (and varied) sexual practices among the nations trapped within the steel confines of the European Union.

A rare, but overlooked gem that should not be missing from any true enthusiast collection.

elsdvenom: Looks like Deus 2 hit a wall. Looked like it was going well for a while there.

madth3: It's moving...

It feels like it's inviting me to buy my own copy... If only I did not have a big backlog...
GOG has a shelf for a reason ;)

opeth2112: What's up with everyone asking if they missed something that just completed? They hoping someone will gift it to them because they 'just' missed it? Seems like too many coincidences.
Yup.

Some just blatantly ask for a game without giving that as an excuse...
The sales counter for Deus Ex 2 isn't updating real-time for me - have to refresh the page to see how many copies are left.

Not sure if others are having this issue.

This just reminds me of the "English-Hungarian Phrase Book" used by Monty Python.

jimnorth: I considered putting a list of the reasons I don't like Invisible War aside from "It's not Deus Ex or Human Evolution", but this probably isn't the place for detailed discussion on the matter. Suffice to say that I, at least, do dislike it on its own merits and not just in comparison.

But then, I absolutely detest Arcanum while most everyone else here seems to adore it. So, y'know. Opinions.
I'm a bit backlogged on this forum, as I'm working as well. But I agree with you on both counts. Invisible War is a very fun game. It's just the levels are claustrophobicly small. The gameplay is still the fun gameplay from the first.

And I too just could not get into Arcanum. I really wanted to, but was annoyed by pretty much everything about the game from setting to art to difficulty to the lack of balance and story. Oh well, each their own.
Oh man guys...

I got this fortune cookie at lunch today

It's a sign.

EDIT: I probably should have underlined KEEN. That's what I was remarking about.

My hovercraft is full of eels!
Are PC games linked to a person's DNA?

My daughter's just gone to bed complaining that she wants to continue playing Star Stable (look it up if you have kids who like horses, its really good) and keep chatting with her friends, and I really feel for her and at the same time feel responsible for passing on my gaming addiction. She could play games the whole day, she's so into them. Luckily I'm not one of those people who frown on computer games for being anti-social or whatever. Still, it seems odd that something like that could be inherited: it would take more than just watching me play them to make her as keen as she is.
