muttly13: Anyone aware if The Bards Tale will be coming up again?
avatar
Senteria: it will someday. I'm waiting for it as well.
The Bard's Tale is really good on an Android tablet / iPad. You can sit on the sofa or lie in bed and play it. Luxury! :)

ChozoTull: ... Now I can't decide if you guys are sincere or trying to make me buy the game :p
Dude. It's $2.
It's a solid cyberpunk RPG/FPS.
I haven't missed Torchlight, right?

They're sincerely trying to make you buy it.

zillatain: Well, I probably won't have access to internet for the next 4 to 5 hours. Just hope Deponia 3 doesn't show up. The last one I'm trying to get.

Tarnicus: If that image caused you physical pain, then I won't tell you about tearing my scrotum open. And they say computer gaming is "safe". I blame Richard Garriott and Ultima Online for the injury (serious true story! lol)
Now you have to tell us that story!

zerugray: I haven't missed Torchlight, right?
Not yet...
Yeah, probably. I spent more than what expected to on that sale, and got shadowrun for my cyberpunk fix, so I'll pass on this one, as I'm looking for other games in the sale. But I'll keep that in mind if it ever pops up in a weekend deal or something :)

opeth2112: What's up with everyone asking if they missed something that just completed? They hoping someone will gift it to them because they 'just' missed it? Seems like too many coincidences.
I get the feeling some are doing exactly as you say, but not all.

EleoneChan who just missed out on Arcanum was kind enough to offer me stuff instantly in return, and my girlfriend will be happy with her new platform game when she wakes up :)
Just out of interest, is there any way of removing Deus Ex 2's enormous HUD?
avatar
ChozoTull: Can't understand if people are buying invisible war out of interest for the game or just to move the sale along
avatar
pmn357: It's a actually a bargain at $2. People make fun of DX2 the same way they used to make fun of Diakatana. I just don't get it. On it's own merits, Invisible War is a decent game.
I don't think it's on the same level. Invisible War always got good reviews from the press, while Daikatana, from its obnoxious ads to its stupid story, asked to be made fun of.
Hi everybody!

I have a gift code for URU.

I would either trade it with an adventure game I do not own (Leisure Suit Larry 7, Cognition: Erica Reed, Dracula Trilogy....) or simply gift it to somebody really nice! :)

Please PM me if interested! And good luck still for the remaining titles in the Spring Insomnia Promo Tracker!

mc_leod: Hehe, a lot of leary eyed people around the world
and now also some who are doing diet
- there must be some evil world domination plan here at gog.
At least the cat owners have some cans of meat at home ;-)
GOG did not enslave us, it is the greed within our hearts that does so.

Not doing diet btw, I just ate a bowl of low budget cornflakes and I caught several hours of sleep during Time Commando.
This whole thing is a complete waste of time and I love it because sometimes in Life you want to waste time willfully, it's fun to 'stick a finger' to the clock that never shows mercy and never stops.
Participating in this sale is my protest against time itself, evil entity as it is.

Its a good game on its own,
but in comparison to the first deus ex - well it just can fail

EleoneChan: If you crop the picture to make it square and resize it (maybe aplying a bit of sharp filtering) it still would be a badass avatar!!!

foxworks: Good idea ;) I'll definitely play with it!
I tried myself, I was thinking of something like this.
