ralfkorrek: Sorry about the off-topic, but what is that about "ninja'd"? Have seen this sometimes, but what does it mean?
Well it originates from early online games where loot stealing was commonly referred to as ninja looting. Now it basically means somebody was beatin to the punch regarding whatever it was that they were doing or saying.

Tarnicus: Beautiful cat pic! Is that a lilac Burmese? The eye colour suggests no but that is one beautiful pedigree :)

I don't have a decent quality pic that on-hand of my current gorgeous brown Burmese but here was one amazing companion, Chomsky, a dearly missed companion of 10 years :)

Neverfree: Awww so cute :)
I've never met a cat who was trained so I would click my fingers after we'd make eye contact and he'd jump up into my arms. Our favourite game together was to stalk tourists in the bushland behind my old house as there was a popular walk there. I'd creep up with him to see how close we could get. He loved it when I 'played cat' and then we'd sit on a rock and watch the sunsets together.

And on that note, I am going to go cuddle up to a bed full of cats as the sun is rising. Once again time got the better of me :)

It's what people will edit into their post when someone else beat them to an answer. :) When you try to reply to someone as fast as possible, and somebody beats you to it, they "ninja" your answer, basically.

Edit: ... and I've been ninja'd. Talk about topical. xD

LynetteC: Let's compromise - I'll redeem your code and if I'm able to catch Shelter when t comes up, I'll pay it forward and buy a gift for someone else. In the meantime, I'm having too much fun here even to play Ether One, where I've been hanging out since it's release day.

Oh, and by the way, how do I look? MMEEEEOOOOWWWW

Beautiful cat. Is that you? I have to confess I pinched my avatar from a Google search - I just fell in love with the eyes. :-)
I think we just had an Assassin's Creed style pileup of ninja-ing.

ralfkorrek: Sorry about the off-topic, but what is that about "ninja'd"? Have seen this sometimes, but what does it mean?
avatar
foxworks: usually means someone beat you to it first.
avatar
jimnorth: It means someone has replied to a post only to find that someone else has made the same reply while they were busy typing.

For example, I'm betting that someone has already ninja'd this post even as I'm typing it.

EDIT: See, what'd I tell ya?
Ah, now I understand - and perfect example, too :D Thanks!

Statgat: Average for round 1 as well. Although, ironically, I am missing the first twelve offerings.

2014-05-12 19:11:58: Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes, 75 copies 0:00:29 155.2 copies/min
2014-05-12 19:12:58: Jack Keane 2: The Fire Within, 18000 copies 0:00:20 54000.0 copies/min
avatar
Pidgeot: That can't be right. You have 1 minute between the two games, yet you only count 29 seconds for Edna & Harvey.

My own timing says 1 minute 5 seconds for that one, so that part seems fine.
That is because because I begin counting seconds from the first sale. For these fast first round sales it makes quite a difference.

The first timestamp for Edna & Harvey for me was at 1399921886
and first timestamp for Jack Keane 2 at 1399921948
which comes out to 62 seconds which is quite close to your time.

If I were a cat, I'd want you to be my owner haha :) Love people who really appreciate their pets <3
avatar
foxworks: My cat tried to 'grumpy' pose the other day. (too bad it's slightly out of focus)
I know that expression sooo well! I'll get a good photo of my cat Coca(4 of them in this house and 3 dogs) to show you how similar the expressions are :)

Statgat: That is because because I begin counting seconds from the first sale. For these fast first round sales it makes quite a difference.
Okay, that makes sense.
avatar
Tarnicus: I think I'm partially to blame as that is one awesome game so I grabbed "some copies". Check your PM, your copy has been hand delivered in it's beautiful boxed copy. Hopefully the delivery driver didn't steal the box and just leave the code :P
avatar
EleoneChan: Thank you very much!! I really appreciate this!! :) :) :)
Ah you got my message, that is definitely my work done for the evening and now to sleep the day away :P
avatar
ralfkorrek: Same here - haven't touched a single game since the sale started. So much fun in here... somehow it's sad, that it is over soon and we will be back playing as usual.
avatar
flickas: But now we're gog veterans, we can tell the newbies about the great sleepover that was insomnia and they will feel newbish and left out until the next one :-D
You mean just like I did until Monday afternoon? lol
Really, people? All that talk about cats and not even a single video?
Let me rectify that mistake. Ladies and gentlemen, I present you the Stalker Cat!
