Pidgeot: Wed, 14 May 2014 15:25:21 UTC: Teslagrad - 75% off ($2.49) - 800
And Grimrock was the game number 20 so we have gone through one fifth of the final round.

Red_Frog: Yeah, it was supposed to be Heretic Kingdoms. Mainly so I would look like an honest glitter and unicorn farts spellcaster instead of a shitwizard.
Nope it wasn't. The list for rounds 1 and 2 are on the first post of this thread now (thanks IAmSinistar and others for the updates!).

Khajiin: Can anyone tell me if Gobliiins Pack or Quest for Glory 1-5 have been in the 3rd round so far? :)
None of them yet.

Austrobogulator: I'm a little on the fence about The Teslagrad Effect...
Don't confuse Teslagrad with Tesla Effect, though. ;) Completely different games, the former being a puzzle platformer, and the latter the latest instalment in the Tex Murphy series. :)

jetsman5ian: I just bought Grimrock and I don't know why. I already have too many games and dungeon crawlers aren't my favorite genre!!!!
avatar
don2712: I do the same thing all the time on these special offers on the basis of "although I don't like these types of game or, I'm totally crap at games like this but, this one might be different" theory.
It hardly ever works that way and I end up buying another game I don't enjoy or don't have the time or perseverance (because I'm playing the games I do like) to work at the learning curve.
...and here we have an insight into the marketing theory that motivates this sale. Someone at GOG must have an advanced degree in Psychology.

^This. Have fun playing it! :-)
Thought it would go slower, happily surprised :)

Don't jinx it, it's not even halfway through!
Remember, that nightmare of Alan Wake stalled at like 170 to go.

And neither of them are Tesla Girls. But it's nice to have this in the background while the sale goes on. :)
Woohoo! I managed to snag Teslagrad on the last round. Now if I can get Gateways (and maybe Theme Park), I'll have hit all my targets! :)

I especially like how the inevitable sleep deprivation due to this sale reduces the ability to make logical decisions even further. :)

I absolutely love the sale BTW, and most of all I'm fascinated by the amazing atmosphere here on the forums :)
