IAmSinistar: I fear that like most reboots it will probably shade toward gritty and edgy and lose the charm of the original. But there is still a chance it will be good, so I'm holding out hope for that.
Hasn't the ReBoot reboot been in production limbo for years now?

don2712: I got my only freebie yesterday and lost it, but, it showed me how the freebie system works.
Just before I went to sleep I thought I would check how things were going on my tablet, Children of the Nile was on offer I had wanted it but missed it before so I clicked it and it came up as free but, then the problem occurred, I found i wasn't logged in to GOG I tried to log in but after 15 seconds or so a pop up said I was too late and I had lost it.
It would seem that freebies are just a random happening and depend entirely on luck not on what you have already purchased or how much you have purchased just when you click on buy, there may even be a a piece of software that stops the same account holder constantly clicking on each offer just in search of freebies.
I just don't understand how I got either message as I wasn't logged on.
That's really odd. I thought it was impossible to get the checkout process going if you're not logged in, plus the way the freebies work since at least round two, iirc, you get an instant message telling you that the game got added to your account.

Are you sure that it's not somewhere on your game shelf and that you didn't receive the responding email from GOG?

That's a lovely thing to say but alas I am human and have done my fair share of harm this lifetime to others. Learning from those experiences(some of which lessons still haven't sunk in) has been very rewarding, if not challenging when a mirror is put in front of oneself.

I dont write much in forums but i enoyed the reading of yours and the other more
communicative guys here. That you were off is maybe one of the postings on which i also went off - even that we have 8h later here.

I can't comment on that as I haven't tried it. I am seeing that the generalisation of "FMV sucks" was a bit hasty, as the reminder of Rebel Assault did prod my brain to remember enjoying FMV in some cut scenes from some games :)
