Congrats!
But you should know that you've missed Time Commando! :)

Alas, yes I did miss "Time Commando", but it wasn't on my wish list to begin with. :-)
So, who's got the updated list?

Cool, still on course for grabbing Democracy 3 :)
Hope they send the Last Express through again soon. If I can get that, I think I'll have picked up everything I want from this sale.
considering the amount of anticipation aarklas had, After the first stream it's going pretty slow.
probably mostpeople wanting it are not around atm...

I'm wondering If I should get one for trading with the ones I actually want and dunno If I get to grab:
Shelter - 0.99
Krondor - 1.49
Zork - 1.49
Grimm - 1.99
total= 5.96 > 5.24 = Arklash
hmm...
Also I was seriouslly considering Police Q - 2.49 , so maybe I should get two gift codes?

Ongoing list - now 17. Aarklash
I hope Half-Life 3 will be the next .. oh wait ..

Niteris: GOG isn't a store? I guess this means I haven't been paying for the games I bought here...
First part of what you quote is
avatar
JMich: For Me
Feel free to see GOG as only a store. The same way as a Pop & Mom is a store, or the same way as a Mall is a store. You see them both as store, no personal interaction. I do make the distinction between an impersonal store and a more personal one.

avatar
Niteris: This thread is "Spring Insomnia Promo Tracker"; where you do see "Also Humble Bundle discussions" alongside that?
The same place I see "Trivia time!" and "Trading offers!" and "What I'm going to do now!" parts.
Most discussions in the GOG forums ebb and flow like the conversation in a pub. While we may start talking about the recent football match, the discussion may turn towards what car the main striker drives, then complains about the damages my car has had, then back to the fact that the penalty that was awarded to the home team wasn't one. The discussion was (and is) still about the football match, even if cars came into it. If the other participants think cars is not something of that discussion, they ignore it and continue talking about the football game

avatar
Niteris: I might not be a direct conflict of interest as GOG currently does not sell those games but you're still advertising the competition on a GOG forum thread. Also for your beer and wine analogy, that does work because games are games, and even if you it did you'd still be promoting a competing product.
Again, I'm not asking a store owner if I should get the games here or elsewhere (though you may be interested in the "Cheaper Price Guarantee" some stores use), I am accepting the discussion between gamers that some good games are on sale, and unfortunately GOG doesn't have them.

avatar
Niteris: As for being cheaper somewhere else, if that's how you roll, looking for the cheapest option then maybe GOG isn't for you.
I buy my games on GOG because they are on GOG. Not because of their price. But then again, I don't see GOG as a store, so it's people loyalty, not store loyalty. If someone is interested in what store gives him the better deal, then he may be interested in getting the cheaper price.

avatar
Niteris: GOG provides quality and service that simply cannot be found anywhere else on the net, and if you're going to forgo that for just plain cheaper then there's other services you can go to.
So as I said at first, GOG isn't just a store. They do offer more, part of which is their community. A community that is open minded and can rationally discuss any matter, gaming or not, and not a rigid community that cuts posts out of a thread for being Off-Topic, or that doesn't allow discussing specific matters. As long as the community behaves, all kind of discussions are tolerated.

Aren't they?
Flatout 2 still up for grabs?

Magnitus: Flatout 2 still up for grabs?
Yes, it hasn't appeared in round 3 yet.
