I think my tired break needs to be more clear when I ask questions, as I can see how it has been misinterpreted.

Hint: it is the 7th game in a RPG series

Pidgeot: I kept it simple and wrote a small piece of Javascript that checks the currently displayed game twice per second, generates a forum-ready line with the details of that sale (timestamp, name, discount %, price, number of copies) when a new game appears, and copies that line to my clipboard. This makes it easy to post when new titles come up; I just have to paste the new line in and click post.

I then also have a program running to capture clipboard changes (generating a more complete log for when I'm not available to post real-time updates), which is how I can do delayed summaries, etc.

So..........................you're saying you don't have a girlfriend, wife? Seriously, you're not thinking this through. What good would the money be if your girlfriend, wife, etc. was spending it all on shoes and bags? Of course, it would free up some of your time for the GOG sales, I guess.

Let's assume she has $1000 to spend, and I get 1% of the profits for myself. That means I get $10 from one of them. I assume the sale would have about 20.000 people, so even at $1 from each, I rake in $20.000. Why is that something to not like?
Hell, you can even pay for the shoes yourself, and have her thanking you for making money ;)
