Cyberevil: As far as Ultima 4 was concerned I'd have to say that the character creation for the time was brilliant, the game was an innovation and probably deserves to be on a list of important titles.

But that being said I HATED that game. maybe I'm just too Evil or something but it just grated me, I could quickly see there wasn't going to be any way I could finish that game and feel like I was playing a character that was "me"

It DID make me load up Ultima 2 though and I went on a couple hour killing spree of Lord British himself.

"Be thou Proud?"

"yea"

"Tis not a virtue"

That sounds like me shooting children in the head and taking out a whole town in Fallout 2. I seemed to get a lot of joy from doing that for some macabre reason lol

donsanderson: Do you have issues downloading from other sites?

Austrobogulator: Nope. BTW, it's coming up with 403 - Forbidden.
With the 403, you should look in here :

For those wondering about "Keaning"?
Race the Sun is currently doing just that, though no where near as bad as Jack Keane 2 did. :-)

At this point it should be racing something slower, like a glacier perhaps.

Ah, but since "Lord British" was supposed to be the game writer (richard garriote, something like that) I felt it was direct revenge for my failings to meet his virtues.
Well, I helped. I bought a copy of Race the Sun. It looks fun enough for a casual game, at least I sure hope it is.

I really want Democracy 3 before I have to sleep tonight, so come on people, it costs less than a cheap lunch.
I love when you can do things in games and the game actually remembers and makes references to them. One of my favorite lines ever is in the NWN HoTU expansion, "I can't help but think I'm making a deal with a devil, here, considering your reputation." Muahahah.

Austrobogulator: I can't believe that GOG still won't allow me to download games though Firefox =\
Any idea why? I just tested it and downloading through FF works fine for me.
Damn, I fell asleep for a few hours. Can you tell me how many games have been in round 3? Is this almost over?

I drive all day for a living. Is it any surprise I can't stand to play racing games? So, sorry, I won't be adding this one to my library.

That being said... c'mon folks, you *know* you want a copy or eight of this one!

bahahaha I really laughed at my desk at work when reading this! Thankfully I'm the only one in the office right now (everyone else went home because they weren't watching this stupid insomnia sale and got their work done, DOH!)

foxworks: it's a must for the larger downloads :)
And if you don't want to use the GOG downloader or have any issues with it, this Firefox add-on does the job brilliantly as a download manager https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/downthemall/

Ahahahahahahaha . . . no.
