I've got the GOG home screen up on my laptop and my tablet - it appears I was the very first person to grab Syberia2! Still didn't get it free though!

Anyone got a spare Democracy 3? That's the only one missing from my list this time and I don't want to risk missing it.

still... even if you knew how they determine free or not free (even with source code at hand) i don't think you could do anything about it since it's server side -- even if it was something as simple as if ((rand() % 10000) <= 1) game_is_free = true;

Wow I missed a lot of games, guess this started at noon yesterday or something. It wasn't on in the morning.

How wonderful...

I've been following the second round since 07 - Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers, up to 64 - Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. There was only one more game that I wanted to get, and that was Deponia 3. So I thought that maybe by the pattern, that game would show up next.

Unfortunately I had to go somewhere right when Tomb Raider had about 150 left, but luckily I was able to find a (very iffy and weak) wifi connection.at that location. Tomb Raider was still going, so I kept watching until it got down to one left...then right at that moment the connection went out.

After a few minutes I was able to get it back and saw that the next one was Time Commando. That shot my idea of the pattern. Watched the next games up to FTL with no more connection issues, but had to leave and go to another place that did not have wifi. Hoped that by the time I got back home (with a much better connection) not too many games would have gone by and that Deponia 3 was not one of them...

Anyone following the list will know what I found when I got home (right now).

I don't know if it's worth it to go though round three for just one game. At least I completed my Sam & Max collection and all the other games I wanted.

But you got it, and even as the first one! Grats! Now only for the train ticket - Oscar awaits. ;-)

If Alan Wake has a nightmare to kick off round three, I will hire Wayne Brady to choke a bitch.

Before it pops up... is Smugglers any good guys? It looks fun, but some of the reviews make me think twice :/

It did that in round one. Or at the very least asked you to confirm you wanted the free game. Didn't check if I could gift it.
