Nice video. Well, Hitman is below 300. Thank goodness.

opticq: I want to try that, is it as hard as the 1st review implies?
avatar
Souldrifter: Don't know. I've never actually played it. :) But for that cheap of a price, I'm willing to give it a go.
I'd say yes, It's as hard as the first review implies; I found it slightly harder than the original commandos + expansion. It's still worth it and a lot of fun; just challenging (but in a fair way).

Just be aware that some have issues with game crashes on win 7 &8; check the forums for more info.

IAmSinistar: It is, but I'm holding all keys until the sale completes. You'll still have a chance to pick it up yourself in the third round (unless they unhappily surprise us by not having one). Once it's all done then I'll be handing out the keys to those who missed their chances.

A big part of the fun is trying, so keep at it! :)
Sounds fair enough :) Will there be a battle to the death to choose who gets the keys? ;)

I wish I could stick around for the whole of round 3 just to be sure, but I fear this dreaded real life is going to crumble my plans to little pieces as usual :D And the third coming of Lara Croft probably...

IwubCheeze: I just bought my copy of Alan Wake for 4 reasons

1) I didn't have the game like every other GoG member had theirs :P
2) I had a genuine interest in the game
3) Next time Alan Wake goes on sale, I can complain with you :D
4) I wanted to ease your guy's pain and suffering by making a purchase so it would go quicker. Aren't I such a nice and wonderful person :)
It's an okay game. I bought it on the Xbox, it being the game that hyped me enough to want an Xbox. Sadly didn't quite live up to my hype. The action parts get really old really quick but the interactivey areas were really good I thought

Magnitus: k, so does it mean there will be at least 24 more games before it appears again?
avatar
Grargar: Yes. Unless we get another visit from Uncle Keane.
Alright, much obliged. Thank you.

In that case, I'll tune out from the promo until bed time.

Austrobogulator: ;___; I wanna go to sleep but I assume Zork is next? I probably won't ever end up playing it anyway >_<
Not necessarily, Hitman was paired with AW, so maybe Zork will be paired with SWAT 3 and arrive some time later.

Gosh chap, you're almost as persistent as me last night ;)

jetsman5ian: Question: Is clicking Buy Now on every game hoping for a free copy and then not actually buying the game if a free copy screen doesn't come up a viable strategy for getting free games? Or do they monitor your activity and block free game chances if you don't buy what you click on?
Yes it is viable according to others. I'm over 30 games now without a freebie though :p

Right, I think the hype kinda destroyed Alan Wake and it hasn't received the praise it should. I just bought it out of the blue one day without any expectations and the game blew me away.
Half-way! We can do this!
I have to say, Alan Wake went by real fast. Had a double charge on Cognition though...

HypersomniacLive: Cheers for keeping us all up to date! :-)
My pleasure, its good fun being here while it lasts :)
Bad Hitman, go away or we won't buy any future sequels. (laugh)

Ungunbu: do you happen to have an inquisitor key as well?
avatar
IAmSinistar: I might, or I might not. Read my response above, and don't rile the hornets that live in my head. :)
that's ok -- it's just i don't think i'll have much time to check round 3 constantly -- if i can i'll buy it myself of course ;)

Shit, I should just go back to bed and wait for Round 3.

Battle to the Death for keys? Count me in!
