Wow! GOG is a really generous place.

I'm sure this is more for simplicity than anything else. I owned (& have downloaded, but not yet played) Whispered World. During the sale, I noticed that the artwork had changed on my shelf. They upgraded my purchase from regular to the Special Edition, which is still considered "New." Yes, that makes things simpler for them, instead of maintaining two entries.

If you owned Whispered World already, go re-download it.

That would be even better with a real-world clock ticking away under it, to really hit home the tedium.

I love the art in Cognition. I just don't know if I can successfully complete a story driven game from the female perspective, I don't think I have the right mind for it. My masculine side is only overshadowed by my even more masculine side.

Yes, for us veterans of the first Insomnia, the Keane phenomenon is in a class of its own. Nothing in this sale has been remotely close to that horror yet.

Goes to show that Erica Reed is a cut above Lara Croft, Alan Wake, and Jack Keane. :)
