Orionos: What's this about Alan Wake? Was it so slow? I thought it was rather a new idea, interesting to play.
American Nightmare really slowed down the second run, and the first Alan Wake was one of the few that took a while during the first wave.

From what I understand, a lot of people got it for free?

IDK, I signed up for GOG because Torchlight was free, and that still flew off the proverbial shelf .

I actually wasn't too interested in Democracy 3, as I already have the second one and haven't even bothered playing it yet. But the DLC they released this morning really piques my interest, so it's back on watch.

The Fall Promo lasted around six days, so it is highly probable they will repeat 3 rounds also now.
But just as reminder - we didn`t even hit 24h mark, and we are almost at the end of 2nd round.
So that gives a good idea, how "quick" the third round will probably be. I expect it will be pure test of endurance.

Should we be able to vote off slow-moving games? Or would that go against the spirit of the sale?

Verdeloth: Yes, Democracy is quite high on the radar of many people, me too.
I expect for it to be a blast similar to Deponia 3.
What`s worse, I am afraid now to leave the work, as I know my luck is always against me.
I'm waiting for it too. I'm so hungry I think my stomach will try to devour itself soon, but I know if I leave it'll be up & gone again in the time it takes to grab something. I should have taken the opportunity Lara presented me with, but I assumed it'd be more popular than it was, being part of such a huge series, & by the time I realised it was sticking around I was reluctant to abandon my watch in case people just went 'to hell with it' & bought it after all.

Don't think Alan Wake has been a freebie, but it's been in a bundle and on rather frequent sales on many sites, so it makes sense that demand isn't that high for it. Torchlight is kind of the same story, but it's considerably cheaper than AW on this sale, so I guess that explains why it sold much more quickly.

Don't forget people, requirements for an Insomina sale:

a) Bottles (empty)
b) fast food delivery and/or smart phone with internet (not wifi)
c) caffeine of some kind

Just the game, but at the Insomnia price adding the DLC to it still makes a bargain.
