madeaj: Call me crazy but I like to initially play games in order. Yeah GOG!

srilumpa: In the case of Syberia and Syberia 2 I would strongly recommend playing them in order as they are two parts of the same story.
Thanks
Yes, I would say by Syberia it is not only recommended, but practically essential to start with the first part, otherwise the player will be missing a lot of story background and motivation of Kate.
And without knowing and understanding what she was trying to do it doesn`t make much sense to play it.
I still remember the reviews of that time, where they evaluated this drastic split of one game into two as one of the most stupid marketing decision ever, and I have to fully agree with them.
So, this thread is still alive and well?

Well, it's not as active as during the insomnia, but we're still here :)

After insomnia is before insomnia ;-)
Even if some individuals are doing the unthinkable now: playing the games
*pfffft*

WHAT!? People are actually playing the games they have bought? That's like unpacking action figurines! A CARDINAL SIN!

Well, maybe a royal sin? I'm quite enjoying Long Live the Queen.

Funnily enough, me too! I wasn't sure about it at first but it kind of draws you in. :-)
It's a game for girls. Only girls like that game.

If you're talking about Long Live the Queen, you're wrong on both counts. :)

All this talk about LLtQ is making me think I made a poor decision during the Insomnia Sale ;)

Ha, never fear. I picked up an extra for just such a contingency. It has been sent to foxy, though I don't know if he'll actually redeem it. He is almost as hard to gift to as I am. :)

EDIT: He just did redeem it! Hurrah, now all the loyal subjects of the Queen are together in ownership. :D
