Minerva14: Hello,
If you wanna learn our language by textbooks or other education materials and are not sure if they are good, you can send me a link to it and I will take a look. Or if you need help in any other ways where a native speaker is useful to you or someone who can give you tips for a trip to Germany :)
Good luck for everything you wanna do in the future!
Thank you for the offer!Stilton: I love the German language (and also your country) and have just decided that I'm going to learn it.
I've been to Germany four times but only for quick visits, so there was no real chance to get into the language (what I learned I've forgotten), but now is the right time to get to grips with it properly.
It might be blasphemy to say it here, but there is more to life than computer games!

jackster79: Coming out my way, I see. :-)
That is a good comparison, though I never thought of it due to the stats element in LLTQ. But indeed, that is a nifty game with a good bit of gaming goodness if you want to see everything.
xjay73: I'm in the Pittsburgh area a good bit actually. There's one customer a little down river from the city where I get some of my best paying loads, so I try to get back there as much as I can. :D That is a good comparison, though I never thought of it due to the stats element in LLTQ. But indeed, that is a nifty game with a good bit of gaming goodness if you want to see everything.
The only thing missing in the comparison is the cassette tape drive. *grin*
Stilton: Those are good looking trucks. Is the Kenworth a sort of made-to-measure build, hence the wait?
xjay73: Well, pretty much any brand can be custom ordered. The reason mine is taking so long is that I'm getting what's called a glider kit. Basically, it's the shell of the truck (frame, chassis, axles) without the engine and transmission. These last two elements are what I'm having custom built. The place that's doing it for me has to wait for the glider to come in first (a couple more weeks at the most), then it takes about 4 weeks for the rest to be built and installed. I'll put a pic of it up once I get it... quite excited about it, even though it will put me up to my eyeballs in debt. lol
there is a german saying:
nothing beats cubic capacity
- except
more cubic capacity ;-)
Or maybe this is better known: There's no replacement for displacement
Pic would be nice!

Yah, I usually get a few every week (460 games here as of today). It's kind of like the weekly Windows patches - annoying, insistent, but you know you're usually better off afterwards. :)
