Red_Frog: What the hell are you people still doing in here?
It's not easy to leave such a sweet home ;)
avatar
Kamamura: Amazing, so many drivers here. I have never had a driving license ;-) And now it's too late for that, because after playing several installations of GTA, I would probably kill a lot of people.

Anyway is Euro Trucker 2 any good?
Me neither, never bothered with it. City Boi, everything is within 5 miles.

No idea but I hear Big Rigs is pretty rockin'.

We're like the zombies in Dawn of the Dead returning to the Shopping Center out of zombie-instinct.

noliveking: Dammit! Get home from work jsut to find out that the previous game was the one I waited the whole sale for!!! Any chance someone got an extra copy of Long Live the Queen I could buy offem?
Hey man, this is two days late and all, but I didn't see anybody getting back to you on this. Did you ever get a copy of Long Live the Queen? I purchased a copy during the sale for this very purpose, getting someone's back that missed it. Somehow during all the hullabaloo of the sale I missed your request. PM me if you are still in need.

Red_Frog: What the hell are you people still doing in here? I just came back to look for my pants and the DJ is still spinning on a clock radio he found in the hall!
The real question is: why did so many choose to leave?
and that, my friend, is a long story ending in you misplacing your pants. ;)
I can't find my car keys.

*wanders around, looking all around*

xjay73: Well, we Americans always have been a bit proud of ourselves, haven't we? :D I have hours and hours of dash-cam footage from my truck to support my conjecture that only about 20% of American drivers know what a turn signal is and how to use it properly, just as a quick counterexample.
I am personally convinced new cars come without turn signals.

Spinorial: As usual I'm a tad late, but I'd be remiss not to give a grateful shoutout to the amazing crew who managed this thread and, indeed, the Insomnia itself. Many lists were made, but not merely of what had come and gone or was left. No, there were lists of what folks wanted, what they'd missed, what they'd snagged or had extras. There was a united concerted effort to make the maximum number of people happy, in a very sleep-deprived zombie-shambling sort of happy way ;)

So, a big THANK YOU, in no particular order and in no way exhaustively, to
Sinistar, Pidgeot, Grargar, foxworks, Tarnicus, DreadMoth, trentonlf, KyleCS, HypersomniacLive, momo, and the many many other brave Insomniacs.

Your watch is done. Sleep now :P
Well said Spinorial. Indeed, without the 'work' of these fine folks this thread would have been a steaming mess of screaming chaos. These folks not only tried to keep everyone on page with the state of affairs, they helped keep everyone awake as much as possible with their above average personalities. One of the best times I've ever had on GOG. Thank you all who made this so memorable.

I have a driver license, necessary living in a small village - but playing the demo of Euro Trucker ended in some fatal crashes... So I decided to drive only in RL. Didn't spend much time in this game, but it seems good, would make fun if you don't have to play it on a keyboard.

Thanks, it's all good. I was just here to be around the people making all the noise. ;)

Absolutely right. It would have been a much less pleasant and rewarding experience without them.

Handshakes all round ;-)

Cheese = friendship! Cheese = love! Cheese = world peace! Cheese = eternal happiness!

Too much cheese = indigestion...

Cheese = +1 ;)
