Tarnicus: Ah it makes sense now, it is more closely related to chives and leeks than garlic. Oooh I want to try this plant now!! I wonder what it's medicinal properties are like, probably similar to other plants in the same family.
All I know is that it's really good for you and tastes much better than green onion.

I think that was the reminder I have needed a few times in life. Authors like Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett are wonderful reminders of this lesson for me :)
