CatintheHeat: I'd like to buy a Sega Genesis system specifically for Road Rash. My favorite racing game of all time. Sega has three Road Rash games.
Oh wow I came back from dodging Kitty and collecting flowers (almost done! how "bittersweet" and appropriate that I'd use word like bittersweet ;)) to see this. Nothing like swinging a mace whilst riding a motorcycle - and the visuals! Gorgeous for the time!

And when did SSI "disappear" - there are some gaming companies that stand tall in my mind. They hold a place beyond making a few games in year X - SSI is one of them, obviously TSR is at the top and Avalon Hill is another - you people are making me all sorts of game sentimental *tear*

JefFreeman: Is there going to be free games? On the front page it says, "Chance to get free games" but I have not seen any.
Click the "Buy Now" button - if GOG has deemed you worthy, you'll see a screen that lets you know the game is free..otherwise we have a club for you - it's the "No Soup For You" club - come on in, we got virtual cookies ;-p

txnca: I'm 52 and have played them as well. Been a long time since I thought about the Mattel Football!

phostis: 52 here as well. And thank you for that. Just brought back memories of me and my brother fighting over who'd get to play that football game. Been a long time since I thought about that little red light flicking back and forth.
I had Mattel Football, Mattel Basketball and Entex Football 3 (two colors). I never got to have the Battlestar Galactica handheld game from the same time, though. Do you guys remember Channel F and Odyssey 2?

I remember when arcades used to really be the thing. I could go to quite a few really close to each other. My favorite was a big arcade pizza joint that served beer. You could drink while playing video games. I remember when Dragon's Lair arrived. That was so unique.

Tarnicus: Until a few years ago I still had the hand drawn maps that my friend made whilst I played. We made all decisions about where to go and what to do as a team, I was just party leader so to speak and he was the cartographer. We got barely any sleep and finished the game in 3 days during school holidays when we were 15. It was so much fun and reminds me of us all staying up late here helping each other out for a common goal :)

He is no longer with us unfortunately, dying tragically aged 36. RIP Michael W <3

The rate of sale has dropped from 5.2 to 2.6 per minute over the past 115 copies (measured by 10 minute intervals over the course of 30 minutes).
