Momo1991: Indeed! And he ate a huge dinner when we got home - now the pain meds are working and he's stoned out of his mind ;-)
Awwww, that makes me really happy. That's the best news of the day!

Momo1991: LOL - it's funny I thought - hey, here's a game I got for free so I'll probably finally get a freebie - no such luck. I'm just glad for other kinds of luck today ;-)
Aww, that's the best kind of luck you had there :D

Neverfree: Glad to hear Momo <3 Give your doggie and big kiss for me :)
;-D He's getting spoiled...every day we make something different hoping to entice him to eat... so yeah, spoiled rotten. All any of us can hope for is to be so well loved...
Hello,

excuse me if this is a silly question, I'm just new to this community - but I enjoyed every day following this thread:)

I'm waiting for the last Sam and Max-Game to come, but early morning in Germany now, sun is rising and I really need some sleep. So is ist right to ask here if someone would be so kind to get this game for me, if I went to bed when Sam and Max Save the World will come up? Or should I hope to get a game in exchange for it to try it in the "Classifieds-Thread"?

I know people here are helpful so you may tell me how to behave in the right way. And sorry for my bad english, that's one reason why I didn't write anything earlier in this thread, although it's so nice being with you all.

expopower: Well...in terms of story, American Nightmare is generally standalone, though a few elements aren't going to make as much sense without playing the first game. Gameplay-wise, It keeps the franchise's unique light-based gameplay, with some interesting additions.

Playing it won't spoil much of the story if you play the original afterwards, though playing them in order might let you appreciate some of the details more.

I thought the original Alan Wake was really good - it's worth picking up next time you see it for cheap!

Soccorro: yeah, until you run out of ammo, then it's sh*t.
That's the part of the game where you run around the dark like a headless chicken, screaming for a lamppost. =D
How do you know you received a free game? I've bought a lot of games and nothing seems out of the ordinary.
Well I bought two copies so I did my bit on this one.
I wouldn't normally go for a game like PID, but....seriously...that's cheap!

After clicking on Buy now, it will notify you that you received the game for free rather than direct you to the standard checkout. It's okay, I haven't gotten any this sale either. '~'

When you click the "buy now" button the price changes to free, if it doesn't you have to pay

eiii: So you don't lose too much from the story when you don't have played the original?

Me don't want to be lured into buying the original Alan Wake. :P

Edit: Should have been a question ...
