Neverfree: Just gave him some intense chin and face rubbing in your name! :D haha

Stilton: Thanks, now he's DEFINITELY smiling at me!
Or has your soul just been shattered so harshly that you can no longer tell the difference...? :O

Soccorro: i wish the forums "someone has replied to your comment" notification would take me to the reply, and not to the last page of the forum -.- especially if the reply was made a couple of hours ago.
You have to click on the little thing beside the link. Sorry can't remember what it look like or if it is to the left or right of it.

awwong: I've exceeded my budget during this sale and messed up my sleeping pattern a few days ago. Before I actually get to playing all these "new" games I've purchased, I have to sleep in for many hours during the upcoming weekend!

Thanks to everyone for all of your informative, interesting, and often humorous posts. I've never been part of such a friendly online community. :)

(Tried to post earlier but my phone wasn't connecting...)

Tarnicus: Welcome aboard :) I've done the EXACT same thing and am looking forward to some recovery sleep and my bank balance replenishing lol

We're here during non-sale hours, feel free to drop in and say hi :)
^^This. Sleep is first on my list :D

Neverfree: Truth! Typically do, she's just not very into so many old games like I happen to be. But she does like things like The Elders Scrolls series and Dungeon Siege-ish games where you have multiple party members. (trying to get her to try Balder's Gate)

Tarnicus: Eye of the Beholder series is the one closest to Grimrock that I can think of.
Eye of the Beholder was my first experience of RPG's. Loved it. To the extent I got graph paper and made my own maps. :D Hated that on Level 1? (3?) there was a long passage that alternated between 16 and 18? steps between games...
I still have the disks somwhere although my Amiga is long gone...

ryuutane: Ugh, I helped the progress bar along and bought a backup copy of AWAN.
Not sure I ever want to experience it though.
respect!

No, my soul feels good and warm - that's a smile of welcome ;)
We sit here venomously staring
At a bar that is so very uncaring

It mocks us in our sleepless state
Ignoring our building hate

Wondering if the numbers are fake
As we keep looking at Alan Wake

Great to hear finally! :D

eiii: Enjoy it. :) And I know I can sent PMs now. :)
avatar
ryuutane: Check your PMs for a surprise!
I noticed you registered on GoG only in last december, so you should find a use for the code :)
Sorry, have to disappoint you. :D I already have bought Torchlight, and even played through!
No need to send me anything back, I've bought more than a game per day in average since I have joined GOG. ;)
Alone in this sale 30, only 4 of them were in my wish list before the sale. Guess I have to learn more discipline ... some day in the distant future. :)

It's not really a bad game, despite its sales performance right now. A step down from the original Alan Wake, I felt, but still a worthwhile addition to the story. I think it's just that most people here own it already through some distribution channel.

Edit: Nonetheless, thank you for contributing to the greater good. =D

Did I miss Krondor?

Desjay: Can someone tell me when Painkiller: Black Edition showed up for the 2nd time?
Because I've been staying awake since the beginning of this sale, laying in bed with my laptop on my nightstand, and if this showed up when I dozed off for 20 minutes during the last 3 days I'm going to be pissed.
I don't know the exact time, but it came up for the final time 24-28 hours ago... Sorry. :-(
